Prophetic number 6: Man; beast; Satan; flesh; carnal; toil and strain of the flesh or natural realm; work; sorrow; secular completeness.

The LORD spoke to me that June 2017 will be the month that He will bring the rod of correction, chastisement and rebuke to the Body of Christ.

He said that the number six is symbolic for flesh, carnal, the strain of flesh, and the realm of the natural which has engulfed the body of Christ for many who are still walking after the flesh and not the Spirit of God.

He said that the rod is symbolic for divine care, guidance, instructions, authority, rule, discipline, and the chastisement of the Body of Christ.

Because it is geared to bringing growth to the Church, the LORD will not stop there, but He will also use this rod to bring chastisement to those whom He will continue to extend grace to in the world – the Church – that His mission might be accomplished in the saving of souls.

The LORD is speaking and He is going to use this rod to cause many of the people of God to begin to bloom into their inheritance (The rod of Aaron) and their destiny in order to bring about growth, to deter the judgment of God, and to dismantle the kingdom of Satan.

Come on Somebody! When Jesus came to the fig tree, He was sorely disappointed when He came seeking fruit upon it and He could not find it.

“And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves ONLY, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.”

Jesus said that He came to give life, and that more abundantly, and it was the thief that had come to steal, kill and to destroy. So how is it that the Church feels that she does not need to grow, thrive and to develop using all the tools and resources that Christ himself provided for her?

The LORD said that many of those in the body of Christ have become complacent and they have begun to become relaxed, and whenever He tries to bring the rod of correction and rebuke, they refuse correction or reproof, because they feel that they are okay and do not need to move beyond their comfort zone.

Jesus was not satisfied with this tree just being a tree good for nothing, but to look at and to admire. He wanted something good to eat to nourish him and to keep Him until his next meal. However, He found nothing, which angered Him.

“And, so when the disciples saw [it], they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!”

It is such a shame that many of the people of God who are in our sanctuaries will begin to wither away all because of pride, rebellion and stubbornness from those who are refusing to be chasten by the LORD and are refusing to change and to give fruit to those who come seeking fruit from their ministries.

For, it does not matter if they are gentle, good, or forward we are to accept it and to be subject to it when they are watching over our souls that it may not be grievous to those that God has called, (1 Peter 2:18).

You see, God gave this illustration to demonstrate to the Church that we should be doing more than just existing as a tree, but we should be prospering, as the Church comes in to full fruition of what Christ has planned for her.

This is why God has given us different gifts, and offices of administration in the body of Christ so that the Church can begin to bloom and to blossom as Christ planned when He left and sent the Holy Ghost to teach, train and to direct the Church in spirit and in truth.

“So, Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt Not, ye shall NOT ONLY DO THIS [which is done] to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.”

Not might but it SHALL BE DONE MIND YOU; meaning the Church should be demonstrating greater works than Christ did, because He has given her all the tools to do so.

This month, God is going to allow the Church to become fine-tuned, by allowing the Holy Ghost to bring both rebuke and correction to the body of Christ for those who are not growing.

It will not be to tear down the Church, but to further push her into her destiny. And, for those who despise prophesying, God is going to allow your eyes to be opened and to see that prophecy is not here to hurt or to wound the Church, but to build her up.

For, it is another way that God wants to minister to her in order to speak to the body of Christ. Now, what Christian would not want to hear from God? Perhaps a wolf in sheep clothing?

For I hear the LORD saying that many have even quenched the spirit of God, even when it was upon you to speak the word of the LORD, because you did not understand it, and/ or, the place of worship you attend do not believe in it.

But this will be the season when God is going to reveal both His Power and His Authority to those who do not believe in the sanctuary, and they will no longer be able to say that they do not believe in the resurrection power of God.

In fact, God is going to show them that they themselves are lacking something, which will cause them to hunger for more of Him.

“For many,” saith the LORD, “have grieved the Holy Spirit and have said that this spirit is not of God, but of the devil himself.” But, God is coming to break the carnal, religious mindsets of man that his power might be demonstrated in this season.

For, I hear the LORD saying that those whom he has called into ministry, must learn to seek, to excel, in the things that God has given unto them; unless they loose what God is trying to give unto them.

For, I heard the LORD saying that if you desire Him, you are going to have to make the ultimate sacrifice and begin to seek the LORD and the things that He is giving unto you. And, that you cannot be like unto the fig tree, just sitting or standing there waiting, with no fruit on your tree, unless you wither and die.

How do You Excel?

God has given the body of Christ a five-fold ministry gift that is here to help train and to teach the body of Christ to move into the things of God and many of you are not taking advantage of what God has given unto you – even the gift of the Holy Ghost.

But If you do not have the Holy Ghost, the you need to begin to seek to excel by asking God for it. For, the Holy Spirit was given to the Church by Christ to help those who are babes in Christ to excel.

Excel, means to aim for excellence; in the gifts and ministries Christ has left the Church. It means to eagerly seek, be hungry, build up, the Church in love to edification, exhortation and comfort.

The LORD is speaking, He said, “In love.” That means that God does not want His people to simply excel in gifts and ministry and they do not have both integrity and character in the body of Christ.

“For, he said that if you speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, you are only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal,” (1 Corinthians 13:1).

Meaning, God wants more than just a tree, but He wants to come seeking fruit upon His tree. He is looking for a return in His investment in you.

A gift does more than just stands there, but it comes to build up the Body by giving her strength, spiritual food, and nourishment something to digest upon. An some, meat!

You see, the rod is also God’s anger, chastisement and His rebuke to bring the Church into the think-tank on how she can perfect what she is lacking in and not to ridicule, mock, shame or to make fun of those who are lacking.

My Mamma use to say you can get more honey with flies than you can with vinegar. Does that mean that it will not hurt? (cause a crushing and a breaking like the olive when it is made into olive oil) Of course not, it will sting, but in the end it will bring forth much fruit.

And, you will be called a son, a daughter of God; as a result, (Hebrews 12:7).

For I hear God saying that this rod that He is talking about, will be used not only to discipline the sheep, but also to (measure/ build) count the sheep, and if no correction and chastisement comes, the Church cannot grow in multiplication or in fruit, because Jesus said, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” (3 John 1:2)

You see, the Church of the Book of Acts understood this growth and this is why they were praising God, (unity) and having favour with all the people. “And the LORD added to the Church daily such as should be saved,” Acts 2:47. (Who did this?)

The LORD is speaking. Many leaders (the people of God) are going at it all alone without the help of the Holy Spirit.

(Moses and Aaron took the rod and used it to work miracles and taught many hidden secrets of the LORD to the people they receive revelation from the LORD; but today’s Churches are full of empty of revelations and are still preaching the same stale bread to the flock. And, they come in broken and leave the same way broken)

But God is showing the body of Christ that we will only end up like the fig tree; cursed, withered and plucked up by the root ready to be cast into the fire for men to gather and to burn in this season if we fail to follow Christ instructions for the body of Christ.

“And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
And when the disciples saw it, they marveled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done,” Matthew 21:19-21.
