Prophecy Never Came By The Will of Man
Prophecy Never Came By The Will of Man
— Don’t Induce It!
THE SPIRIT OF PROPHECY said it will come to pass: that “evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” (2 Timothy 3:13).
And it is fast happening just as prophesied.
Increasingly, those who are “deceiving and being deceived” include those who release and receive prophecy by the will of man, some even selling and buying prophecy!
Prophecy is only released and received (heeded) by THE HOLY SPIRIT. Anything more than this is from the evil one.
Prophecy given and received by the will of man is demonic, and is certain to bring destruction if not renounced and removed by THE BLOOD OF JESUS.
We must always bear this Truth of GOD in mind in these days of great deception, “knowing this first, that no Prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation [origin], for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of GOD spoke as they were moved by THE HOLY SPIRIT.” (2 Peter 1:20-21).
These last days, many are speaking and writing prophecies not moved by THE HOLY SPIRIT, and must be expressly rejected, avoided.
Not every “Thus says THE LORD” Word is from THE LORD. Many come by the will of man. Beware and discern between the tares and the wheat so as not to receive demonic flow into your soul, and be taken into deception and bondage.
Selling and buying prophecy
“But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying THE LORD Who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom THE WAY OF TRUTH will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.” 2 Peter 2:1-3.
On the ascendancy, especially in the United States, is the selling and buying of prophecy.
Those asking payment for prophecy, deliverance, etc. are “evil men and impostors [who] grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.” (2 Timothy 3:13).
They are false prophets who, by covetousness, are swindling and exploiting the gullible and itchy-eared.
Look at the above Scripture again:
“But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying THE LORD Who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom THE WAY OF TRUTH will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.” 2 Peter 2:1-3 emphasis added.
Prophecy is a GIFT OF GOD to HIS Children; it is FREE. If you pay for it, you will get profitcy (destructive lies), not prophecy! And “CHRIST will profit you nothing.” (Galatians 5:2).
“Your money perish with you, because you thought that THE GIFT OF GOD could be purchased with money! You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in The Sight of GOD. Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray GOD if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.” Acts 8:20-23 emphasis added.
THE GIFT OF GOD cannot be purchased with money ! It is ABSOLUTELY FREE, having been purchased for us with THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST!
It is utmost blasphemy to even think to pay GOD for HIS GIFT!
“Do you not even fear GOD…?” Luke 23:40.
If you pay for prophecy, you are inducing divination (prophecy by demons to destroy!) — the very same spirit by which the slave girl was speaking in Acts 16.
GODliness is not a means of gain, (1 Timothy 6:5). Therefore, both those marketeering/ profiteering THE GIFT OF GOD and those paying for It bring themselves under THE WRATH OF GOD!
“Knowing, therefore, THE TERROR OF THE LORD, we persuade men…” 2 Corinthians 5:11 emphasis added.
Repent and seek GOD; do not seek and induce prophecy.
FEAR GOD!
In 2 Kings 5, Elisha gave Naaman (the “commander of the army of the king of Syria…a great and honorable man“, v.1) a prophecy to be healed of leprosy. Naaman was indeed most miraculously healed when he eventually followed the prophetic instruction after initially despising it.
(“Do not despise prophecies.” 1 Thessalonians 5:20. Paying for it, or not taking it with all reverence amounts to despising it).
He then offered the prophet loads of money and clothing he had brought as gift. But Elisha would not receive gifts for THE GIFT OF GOD (the healing).
However, his servant, Gehazi was greedy. He secretly ran after Naaman, lied in the name of his master, and asked for some of the gifts.
Because of his greed and deception, THE WRATH OF GOD swiftly came upon him.
This is what happened as soon as he returned.
“Now he went in and stood before his master. Elisha said to him, “Where did you go, Gehazi?” And he said, “Your servant did not go anywhere.” Then he said to him, “Did not my heart go with you when the man turned back from his chariot to meet you? Is it time to receive money and to receive clothing, olive groves and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male and female servants? Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from his presence leprous, as white as snow.” 2 Kings 5:25-27.
THE WRATH OF GOD is likewise against those charging for prophecy, and those paying for prophecy.
“Knowing, therefore, THE TERROR OF THE LORD, we persuade men…” 2 Corinthians 5:11.
Study and obey THE WORD OF GOD, which is called the “more sure Word of prophecy” (2 Peter 1:19 KJV) for the desired prophecy.
There is no greater prophecy than The Bible. To paraphrase a brother, It says repeatedly: “And it shall come to pass…”
That’s prophecy. Free of charge.
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.
~ Jacob Awagah
Jacob, an apostle of Jesus Christ by The Will of God, according to The Promise of Life which is in Christ Jesus, (2 Timothy 1:1).
As John was, Jacob is the disciple whom JESUS loves, (John 13:23;19:26; 20:2; 21:7,20). And like Paul, Jacob is “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
“And having been perfected, He became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
Yes, I would say that a true prophet would have such fear of God an respect for what he receive from Him that he would not have any interest in money.
“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money come ye, buy, and eat yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread (for that which is not from the Father)? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good (and true), and let your soul delight itself in fatness (grow in fear of God from that). Isaiah 55:1-2
Thank you Pastor Jacob for the righteous words of God. Glory!
