Proper Alignment in the Body
The hip is the joint that bears the most weight. When it is out of joint or of the socket, it is a sign of misalignment!
Without proper alignment, the entire body will begin to be affected by that one major joint being out of balance, unless support or surgery is done!
Some doctors believe that too much weight can affect a hip that is out of socket! But the main factor here is, if the hip is out of socket, you must stay away from too much weight!
What am I saying here, is that many folks read about Jacob and his hip being out of socket by the Angel of God, but they never stopped to think why the hip and no other part of the body was affected by the angel when he wrestled with Jacob?
The Bible states,
“And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.” Genesis 32:24-25 KJV.
The LORD spoke to me that it was because of Jacob’s desire to do things on his own!
Jacob was not dependent upon God, but on his own evil ways which he had been taught by his mother and his uncle, who where both tricksters!
You see, Jacob came from a horrible family filled with evil generational roots which he needed deliverance from, just like a lot of us, who are taught to be tricksters.
He was an ambitious, self sufficient determined man. Some would consider him to be ruthless. He was a con artist, a liar, and a manipulator.
In fact, the name Jacob not only means “deceiver,” but more literally it means “grabber and taker.”
But, like Apostle Paul who had a thorn in his flesh, God refused to remove that thorn because He knew Apostle Paul would get beside himself, so Jesus said after Paul pleaded with him to remove it, “My grace is sufficient in weakness!”
Jacob, like Apostle Paul, was constantly doing things on his own, instead of trusting God. He always got ahead of himself!
He never once acknowledged God, but instead, when he wanted something, he simply would push his brother aside, manipulating him to get it, just like a lot of us in leadership do!
But I believe the reason the angel permanently dislocated Jacob’s hip was prophetic; to show and to remind Jacob how important support is to the Kingdom of God!
Jacob always tried to do things his way and it got him into trouble. So this time, God was going to fix it so that Jacob had nowhere to run or hide. He was going to have to either cry out to Him, or be destroyed — but it was absolutely no going back!
People, it is nothing wrong with asking for help; especially from the LORD!
Jacob had a poor relationship with his brother Essau, just like a lot of us do with both our natural and spiritual families, because we have failed to trust God and to treat them fairly, just like Jacob should have treated Essau.
Jacob did not have to do all he did to Essau, because God had already made a promise to his mother, but instead, they both took it upon themselves to manipulate and to deceive both Essau and his father, in order to get what they wanted!
In this season, God is bringing what is out of alignment into alignment, and without the hip being in proper alignment, the entire body will be affected and without proper support!
“For, the body does not consist of one member but of many. If the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” that would not make it any less a part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would be the sense of hearing? If the whole body were an ear, where would be the sense of smell? But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose. If all were a single member, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, yet one body,” 1 Corinthians 12:14-19.
If only Jacob and his mother and other family members would have realized that every member of the body is important, maybe, just maybe, it would have not been so much division within the body and he would not have had to suffer as much as he did.
But because he refused to humble himself, God sent the Angel, not only to bless him through his divine struggle, but to leave him a reminder, just like He did Apostle Paul, of what will happen when we become prideful and begin to do things without first acknowledging God!
God gave us helps to keep the body moving and active! On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable, and on those parts of the body that we think less honorable we bestow the greater honor, and our unpresentable parts, are treated with greater modesty, (1 Corinthians 12:22-23).

Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
Thank you for this insight. I searched for hip alignment, Christian deliverance and found you. It helped me to break off some generational stuff. This was God breathed and inspired and the information lined up with the book I have been reading about how our lives create a river that is to flow from under the altar of God to bring life to all downstream. Ezekiel 47:1-12. Peace.
Profound.
