Process and Completion
As I was spending time with The LORD a few nights ago, it struck me that not only did Jesus come to redeem us from sin, to heal us and make us whole, but He came also to complete us, to complete the earth, people’s lives, and all that has been lost in this fallen world.
He has come to fill in the gaps, to make whole all that is missing of His Will and Purposes in the earth.
Much of this will be done through us, His People, as we walk in obedience to Him, and learn what it means to walk in the fullness of The Kingdom.
“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” Romans 8:19.
The good work He completes is not just for each of us individually, but also corporately — for all that was, that is, or will ever be.
He is bringing into alignment all that is out of alignment in order for His work to be complete.
He is bringing completion to the earth, to people, to the Ekklesia; He is working all things together to bring to completion the good work He began at the Cross, filling in the gaps, erasing destruction, correcting the operations of the earth, the brokenness in the lives of His people, and the raising up of His perfect Bride, who will be without spot or wrinkle, at the appointed time.
She/ we, will be complete in every way, as His Body and His Bride, as well as all things in our lives individually and personally.
I am not saying life will be perfect this side of heaven, nor am I saying His final completion will happen in any of our lifetimes, but His completion in our lives will be so much more than we could have imagined; it will include things we have never before considered.
As His sacrifice was complete, so His work will be complete. We have entered the Kingdom age.
“being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;” Philippians 1:6.
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
He takes the time He needs for the process, which is designed to bring to maturity all that He has purposed.
We so often don’t understand why we must go through a process to get there, and yet He knows that it’s in that very process that His perfect work is done.
He takes every variable of our circumstances and our choices, and uses them to reach His completed work!
“But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” James 1:4.
We are living in a time when The LORD’s process has been accelerated in the earth in order to bring into alignment the things which have become so vastly out of alignment.
In this process, painful as it might be, He is also bringing alignment into His people’s lives and individual circumstances, and everything will work together for good for those who love Him.
As we each submit to His process, He will complete the work He began. It boggles my mind to think of how many different things He is doing all at the same time, and all His works will come to completion at the right time, in the right way, in alignment with His will, and in harmony with the overall work that He is doing in the earth as a whole. We have an amazing God!
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28.
As the shaking in the earth increases, remember that He is doing a work so large, we will not be able to comprehend it in its sheer scale.
His Goodness will become evident as the dust settles and we begin to see the amazing things He has accomplished in what appeared to us to be confusion and chaos.
It is a work that only He could orchestrate and bring together in such a beautiful way! His Glory will be evident in all that He does, and we will declare with great wonder, “Look at what The LORD has done!”
He is the completion of all things!
“The LORD has done what he purposed; He has fulfilled His word Which He commanded in days of old.” Lamentations 2:17.
Declare:
“Arise, shine; for your light has come!
And the glory of The LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people; but The LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you.” (Isaiah 60:1-2)
What a great time to be alive!
Love,
