Problems in the Churches Still Exist Today as Then
We will look today at even how carnal the Church at Ephesus was.
Sure we know and talk a lot about the Church at Corinth and how carnal they were.
Still even the Church at Ephesus had their issues. These very ‘issues‘ had to be addressed, which Apostle Paul did.
Paul dearly loved them and spent a lot of time there. Still we can not ever leave sin ‘unaddressed’ in our churches!
Some of the sins at Ephesus was anger, stealing, lying, evil speaking, etc. (These scriptures are at the very end.)
Then we can get into the study of the Seven (7) Churches in Revelations and a Daniel Bible Study.
Realizing most of you won’t or can’t go this far. Still I wish to present it here again.
These are the ‘links’ if anyone does want to open and search with me. Just know, it is not a quick Bible study. Also I very much realize I barely touched the surface with what I wrote.
Conclusion for Now in Revelation of the Study of the 7 Churches
As a body of believers in Jesus Christ we still need to read and study the Word of God.
Many are afraid to even read The Book of Revelation, but don’t be!
“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.” Revelation 1:3
“That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil. Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth. Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:22-32
Today, I am trying do ‘mail outs‘ to the prisons. Then I should be freer to be on here again for a time period.
Still we all need to be faithful to allow The LORD to use us where and however He sees fit. Also let’s use our gifts He gives us wisely.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17
God bless you all.
