The Demon Dictionary

The Demon Dictionary gives believers spiritual secret intelligence on the devil that goes as far as to reveal ‘how our enemy thinks’. We cannot know the mind of Christ but we can have the mind of Christ. Through God’s word He gives us insight on how the enemy thinks so that we can be ahead of the game and out-think him… As you read this excerpt from my upcoming book, I prophesy that you have the Mind of Christ!

Walking Circumspectly and Not as Fools

We cannot deny that we have to deal with evil in life. There are two roads of life in the spirit. John 10:10 describes these roads:

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might (Dunamahee – you may or may not have life; potential life), and that you might have it more abundantly)

(1) On one road the devil comes to steal, kill and destroy

(2) On the other road, Jesus came to give us life. This word life is zoe and it means “the God kind of life” or abundant life (John 10:10).

3 John 2-3 is the foundational scripture for this truth. It says:

Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth

Notice in both of the passages listed above there is great potential. In other words, ‘abundant life’ and ‘prosperity’ for believers are not necessarily so. They are not laid out on a silver platter for us. This is why faith without work is dead.

Back to 3 John 2-3

We have heard numerous sermons on ‘gaining the world and losing your soul’. I would like to expound a little more on this passage of scripture. The key word is prospereth. Notice that just as John 10:10 warns that believers ‘might have life’; this passage says we ‘may prosper’. Abundant life and prosperity will not fall out of the sky and hit us on the head because we repeat the sinner’s prayer.

Prospereth – Euodoo (yoo-od-o-o) This Greek word means to get help on the road, to succeed in business affairs and to have a prosperous journey. In other words, God knows that while we are walking by faith it will not be easy and euodoo promises us ‘help on the way’. Glory to God! This is the help that we need because we are not perfect and we will make mistakes in life. This is when goodness and mercy following us down that road comes into play. I call it the blessed road of the promise.

The word Euodoo can be broken down into two parts:

(1) Eu – (Greek Word #2095) To be good or “well done”

(2) Hodos – (Greek Word #3598) To be on a road of progress or on track or in route on a prosperous journey, natural path or course of conduct

To sum it all up, even if you are having some challenges in life, prosperity will be your friend if you are on the right road… the road to the promise. This path will be natural to you with no struggle and will demand a lifestyle or course of conduct that will please God. Also, when it is all said and done you will not have just gained the wealth and riches of the world but eternal blessedness that will allow you to stand before God in the end and hear, “Well done my faithful servant!” You will not gain the world and lose your soul…

Be encouraged if you have messed up…as long as you ‘fess up’, you will be blessed up. There is no condemnation for those who are in Jesus. As long as we stay on the right road in life and fear provoking the Destiny Angel that goes before us, WE WILL PROSPER!

In the mean -time, we must have a good working knowledge on the fact that good and evil does exist. In the occult world the name for ‘good and evil’ is yin yang and it is based on the principle that both realms really exist. To believe that there are only angels is a false doctrine and to only focus on demons is a dangerous obsession. God is the Creator of all! It is hard for many to come to grips with but God created the devil. The devil is a created being… God is the Creator of everything that exists . No matter how much evil is in the world, the power of God is greater. No matter what things look like in the world we live in today… God is in charge…and He has the last word. He is the Alpha and the Omega.

2 Peter 5:8-11 sums it up: (Amplified Version)

Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times, for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour. Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onset -rooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brother-hood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessings and favor], Who has called you to His [Own[ eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen and settle you.

To Him be dominion (power, authority, rule forever and ever. Amen (So be it).

Six Important Points

1. Be well balanced. We must know that both good and evil exists.
2. Be vigilant and cautious at all times. We must watch as well as pray. In watching we must know what to look for. Our spiritual discerners must be sharpened to welcome the presence of God and to ward off the counterfeits. There are many false prophets and antichrists in the land. Remember the counterfeits come as angel of light, looking like the real thing. Also, everything God has… the devil has a counterfeit. He takes the things of god and perverts them.
3. The devil is your enemy. If you were created in God’s image… make it personal, he hates you.
4. He roams throughout the earth looking for the ignorant, the weak, the unbelieving or the rebellious to swallow whole and totally annihilate.
5. Faith comes by hearing the word of God and knowing the truth. Once we are rooted and grounded in the truth the deceptions, lies and onsets of the devil cannot move us from our firm foundation.
6. Where sin abounds grace abounds more. No matter how prevalent evil is… Jesus has all power… FOREVER!

There is an enemy that is described in 1 Peter 5:8 as ‘roaming around seeking whom he may devour.’ This word devour is katapino in the Greek and it means ‘to swallow whole’. To spiritually swallow a person ‘whole’ is one of the greatest witchcraft attacks against a human being. It is common in Santeria and Yoruba witchcraft. It means to destroy every area of a person’s life that God called to prosper. What are these areas? They can be easily noted by understanding the Hebrew word for salvation:
(Hebrew) – Ye Shuwah ‘Jesus”

1. • Deliverance
   • Aid
   • Victory
   • Prosperity
   • Health
   • Help
   • Welfare

I believe that only through salvation in Jesus Christ you can receive everything needed in life to succeed. The word salvation literally means Jesus… there IS power in the name of Jesus! Without Him…something will always be missing.

So who can the devil devour? He can devour anyone who is ignorant of his schemes or devices. 2 Corinthians 2:11 says that Satan can take advantage of us if we are ignorant of his devices. The word ‘devices’ is noema in the Greek language and it is defined as:

Literally knowing the mind and disposition of the devil or how he plans, thinks and operates through darkness.

Ephesians 6:13-14 tells us to put on the whole armor of God to be able to stand against the wiles of the enemy in the evil day. My book “Give it Back” has an in depth lesson on the whole armor of God. The word wiles
is methodeia in the Greek and it is defined as:

The trickery or methods of the enemy as he lies in wait to attack his prey

So it is clear that…

1. • The devil has a certain way (method) that he does a thing
   • He is patient and lies in wait until the moment of opportunity to attack
   • God not only wants us to know (1) The things the devil uses but also – devices (2) How he uses them – wiles
