Because of the very nature of Prayer we need to understand it is not OF THIS WORLD and when one prays he is speaking into A SPIRIT WORLD where spirits live. This experience is therefore an OUT OF THIS WORLD EXPERIENCE and needs spiritual guidance to speak to the right spirit. In John 4:22-24 we read:

“Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth; for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
GOD IS A SPIRIT: and they that worship him MUST WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH.”

Jesus told the woman of Samaria that she did not know who she was worshiping. He pointed out to her that the Jews knew because salvation was of the Jews. The fact was that the Samaritans were praying to a wrong god. Jesus said the time was coming that they would pray (worship) the HEAVENLY FATHER in the SPIRIT and in the TRUTH.

When Jesus was asked by his disciples, How to pray, Jesus said: Pray like this… OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN HALLOWED (SANCTIFIED) IS THY NAME. According to this prayer or worship would be to THE FATHER IN HEAVEN in HIS NAME. It is important than that when one prays or worships that they do it in the proper name. It is also important that prayer be TRUTHFUL or THE TRUTH. If one comes not knowing the truth and speaks ignorantly how can they be assured that they are praying correctly?

According to the dictionary, Prayer is: An address (as a petition) to God or a god in word or thought. Notice it says TO GOD OR “A god”. It is necessary than to PROPERLY ADDRESS WHO YOU ARE SPEAKING TO when you pray. If you do not address your prayer you could be speaking to anyone out there. This could be very dangerous because OUT THERE IS ALSO EVIL. In the Scriptures we are told that the devil and his fallen angels and demons live in the spirit world (beyond human life in a spiritual plane of existence). If you just start talking in prayer without proper mention of whom you are praying to you could end up talking face to face with a demon or the devil himself. What a mistake that would be!!! The fact is there is only one God but many god’s (small g to indicate they are not God). The devil loves to imitate and even deceive many to believe they are actually talking to God when in reality they are talking to the devil himself.

Jesus said in John 14 some interesting things about praying. He said in verse 10 “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another comforter….” What I am pointing out is Jesus prayed to the FATHER TOO. He did address his Father by name. Than in verse 13 he said, “AND WHATSOEVER YE ASK IN MY NAME, THAT WILL I DO, that the FATHER may be glorified in the son. If ye shall ASK ANY THING IN MY NAME, I WILL DO IT.” So we should than know that it is both important and necessary to PRAY IN THE PROPER NAME. Many have not realized this and do go amiss thinking they are praying to God when they, like Jesus told the Samaritan woman, are praying to they KNOW NOT WHO…

I have personally learned this very important lesson about praying the hard way. I have at times gone to prayer and just started talking and listening into the spirit world. Suddenly I would hear a voice but that voice would speak STRANGE THINGS. Even some frightening things. I would than realize that that voice was NOT GOD BUT THE ENEMY. WOW… and that is an understatement, especially if one listens for a long time and buys what is being said. Is this not exactly what happens when a person is led astray by a FAMILIAR SPIRIT? We need to understand that THERE ARE FAMILIAR (DEMON) SPIRITS that are just waiting to talk and mess up your thinking! Well what happens if that person speaking and hearing a familiar spirit does never realize he is speaking to the evil one? Does it than make since that this is how false doctrines are started in the minds of men? The Scriptures say that FALSE DOCTRINES ARE DOCTRINES OF DEMONS. Demons can speak and do hoping to find some ignorant person to listen thinking them to be spiritual when in reality they are False.

THIS IS SUCH A HUGE PROBLEM THAT JOHN, UNDER INSPIRATION OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, WROTE THAT WE MUST TRY THE SPIRITS TO SEE IF THEY ARE OF GOD ARE NOT!

1 JOHN 4:1 “Beloved, BELIEVE NOT EVERY SPIRIT but TRY THE SPIRITS whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

John goes on to explain that a false spirit will not confess that Jesus is the Christ the Anointed one, or, that Jesus is God. Of course there are even other proofs as well such as making sure that the spirit speaking agrees with the Holy Scriptures. If a false spirit speaks it will NOT AGREE with Holy Scriptures but will seek to TWIST THEM.

Than we are warned about SPIRITS THAT LIE. Such evil spirits will LIE and tell many UNTRUTHS JUST TO SUBVERT MANY HEARERS AND TURN THEM FROM THE PLAIN PATHWAY. Certainly we do understand than that this is a most serious business. ALSO… LET IT BE KNOWN THAT THE EVIL SPIRITS CAN AND DO SPEAK TO TARE DOWN AND DESTROY THE MAN OR WOMAN OF GOD BY SPEAKING LIES AND CONDEMNATION WORDS ABOUT THEM.

WE SHOULD UNDERSTAND PRAYER AND THAT IT IS ACTUALLY SPEAKING INTO THE SPIRIT WORLD.. OR… When one speaks in the spirit or HIS SPIRIT TRAVELS INTO into another realm in actuality. In the Scriptures PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT a person can even BE TRANSLATED INTO HEAVEN OR INTO THAT SPIRIT WORLD (in his spirit). Such as the Apostle Paul who was caught up into Heaven and saw things he was not allowed to share.

2 Corinthians 12:1-4 “It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.
I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one CAUGHT UP TO THE THIRD HEAVEN.
And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)
How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.“

or again in Revelation 1:10: ““I WAS IN THE SPIRIT ON THE LORD’S DAY, AND HEARD BEHIND ME A GREAT VOICE, AS A TRUMPET.”

It is clear from these passages that one not only can speak into the Spirit World but he can travel into the Spirit world (in his spirit). The body at this time would be in a trance and the spirit would leave his body and travel into the other world. This like I have pointed out IS DEFINITELY DESCRIBED IN THE ABOVE REFERENCES.

WE SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT THAT PRAYER IS A SPIRIT EXERCISE. When we pray we encounter the Spiritual World. It is therefore necessary to see that God did create man to have a spirit to allow him to pray in this realm. This is what makes men like God and unlike animals. God created men to be like him…. A SPIRIT. God is a Spirit we know that from Scripture, so is man created with a spirit. Men must than realize the importance of MOVING IN THE RIGHT SPIRIT WHEN PRAYING.

If you just began to talk and do not mention who you are talking to or…. JUST BEGAN TO LISTEN you could be in serious trouble. You have a spirit and that spirit can be reached and can reach into the spirit realm. If you do not use the proper Name and destination (like a telephone number when calling on the phone) than you could end up TALKING ON A PARTY LINE. Yes, like the old fashioned PARTY LINE where you could be talking to anyone on the line. Well. Better dial the correct number and name.

I got up one morning and just began to listen into the spirit world thinking to again hear the Lord and low and behold I heard a beautiful voice speaking many words. I was really involved and excited by what was being said UNTIL THAT VOICE SAID SOMETHING WRONG ACCORDING TO SCRIPTURE. I said … “WAIT A MINUTE” you are not God because God does not make mistakes or use Scripture falsely. [Now you must KNOW that IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE SCRIPTURES YOU WOULD NOT HAVE CAUGHT THE SLIP!!!! SO STUDY TO SHOW YOURSELVES APPROVED UNTO GOD!!!]….. IMMEDIATELY I REBUKED THAT VOICE. UPON REBUKING IT … IT LEFT. THAN IMMEDIATELY I HEARD THE LORD SAY…

BE CAREFUL KEN DEWEY WHO YOU LISTEN TO… YOU WERE LISTENING TO THE DEVIL!!!

Wow… I began to shake. It did scare me friends. Now I warn you. BE CAREFUL TO PRAY TO THE HEAVENLY FATHER (THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC, AND JACOB…. THE GOD JEHOVAH THE GREAT I AM) AND BE SURE TO USE THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST. Than you will find him ON THE LINE. AND HE WILL SPEAK CLEARLY AND IT WILL BE ALL GOOD CONNECTION.
