The following are Prayers of Worship from the wonderful book “Praying the Book of Revelation” by Elmer L. Towns.

Your Time to Worship

Lord, there were many sins in my life before I was saved, but because You forgave them, I thank You.

Lord, there have been many times I’ve failed You since I’ve been saved, but because You put them under the blood of Christ, I praise You.

Lord, there have been many people to whom I haven’t witnessed, but because You forgive my lethargy, I magnify You.

Lord, there have been many times I haven’t prayed as I should have, but because You wipe away the tears of unfulfilled potential, I worship You.

Lord, there are things I should do today, but still will not have completed at Your return; I continue to pray, “Come quickly.”

Amen.

What I Learned About Heaven, from Revelation 21-22

I will go to live with God in Heaven if I have believed in Christ as my personal Saviour.

I should attempt to win as many to salvation as possible, because there will be no second chances after death or the return of Christ.

I will weep in Heaven for my friends who are lost, but God will wipe away my tears and make me forget.

I will have a life in Heaven that is not much different from life on earth.

I will learn, grow and develop in Heaven.
