A Self Prayer – for change in us

God, I plead with you to cause us, your children, to see you. God, cause the scales to be removed from our eyes and give us your eye salve! Remove the veil that blinds us, oh Lord God. God, please do not let us stay the same, but be forever transformed by the Word in power.

Release unto us, oh God, such a hunger and thirst for righteousness, the righteousness of your son, Jesus Christ, so that we may know you, oh God. God, cause us to perceive the power of your holiness, and the beauty it displays, that releases the light of your person. Cause us to know your hiding place, the secret place where we are kept under the shadow of God Almighty, under Your wings.

Please, Lord God, keep us hidden in You. Please bring forth the Word of God that is like a double edged sword; the word of God that cuts our heart and does heart surgery, removing that which is profane and polluted. Please Lord God, cause our hearts to be circumcised so deeply that we will weep with repentance, knowing the anguish it causes your heart, when we are giving more honor to the things of Satan and of man, not realizing that we have rejected Your Word. God help us.

God, cause us to see where we have polluted your Word, where we have profaned You in front of the heathen, that has tolerated same sex marriages, schools promoting allah, abortion, sex trafficking, media filled with filth and degradation of the glory of God! Forgive us, oh God! Forgive me, oh Lord, for not seeing that which You desire me to see in Your Word, oh Lord.

God pierce us. Take Your Word and cut us, oh Lord. Cause Your Word Lord God, to bring judgment to the profane things in our heart. Remove the reproach, oh Lord! God, bring forth such a move of your Holy Spirit to release the righteousness of Christ Jesus that we are love sick for the power of that righteousness to be revealed in our hearts.

God, please do not let us remain the same. Cause us, Your people, to rise up like that prophesied in Jude and bring forth such conviction by the power of your righteousness in this earth so that which is evil, is not tolerated in our cities. God, cause a holy nation to rise up. Cause us to be utterly desperate in seeking Your face, that we are not satisfied until we find you! Until we see you, oh Lord, a holy and righteous God, a just God.

Please do not remove Your glory from the earth, from Your people, from Your church, but oh Lord God, cause such a desperate cry to rise up from Your church that you will rend the heavens and pour down Your holy mountain to visit us, not for a revival, but for our remaining time on earth, so that many are set free and delivered!

Lord God help us, we pray!

A Prayer for Others

I pray the Spirit of Truth comes forth by God the Father, releasing His Holy Spirit and the power of His word, so that you may know him! I pray that any area in which you might be deceived, that God would bring such power of His truth, to cause you to see as never before, in order that you may flee from that which is evil!

I pray that God reveals the power of His truth, which is that by the power of His love in the son, Jesus Christ, that you know God has removed your sin as far as the east is from the west!

I pray that you walk in such power of God’s truth that you pursue his holiness as never before by his great grace! I pray that the power of His grace causes you to know the greatness to which you have been called in Him!

I pray that you walk in the power of God’s greatness, which is mighty to cast out devils, heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers and lift off the lying serpent from the necks of man.

I pray that you know the power of God’s great name, so that you lean your entire person on His name, knowing that He will do a great work within your person, to bring wholeness and healing. To bring deliverance. To bring the power of His word!

Oh beloved of God, I pray that you know his delight in you as never before, so you will fully delight in him and the fullness of His name!
