A Prayer of Thanks to The LORD
A Prayer of Thanks to The LORD:
(an slightly modified extract from Apostle Kimberly Daniels‘ book called “Inside Out: Dump the baggage and discover hope through inner healing”)
Plural Version: “We”
Dear Heavenly Father,
We thank You right now for the anointing. We thank You that it destroys the yoke of the enemy. God, we thank You that your Word is a lamp to our feet. Guide our paths as we walk through Your Word, as You teach us holiness, righteousness, and how to be in right standing with You. Teach us how to be trees of righteousness. We declare that we are planted in the right places, by rivers of running water. We are not trying to root ourselves in still waters that run deep.
Jesus, we thank you for those rivers, in the name of Jesus. We thank You that You’re stirring up the waters in the Spirit and that we do not have to come and wait for an angel to come and stir the waters, in the name of Jesus. You are stirring waters on the inside of us, and out of our bellies shall flow rivers of living waters. These rivers of living waters will bring forth righteousness out of our bellies.
Lord, we thank you that we will not just walk in power, but we will walk in right standing with You. Teach us and show us the deeper things of Your Word. Let your Word be a flashlight to show us the next step that we should take along the way. David said that his foot almost slipped. God, we thank you that every time he almost fell, there was a light that came from the Word that was on the inside of him. The Word gave him the strength to stand in the midst of adversity, trouble, and tribulation. God, as believers we have many afflictions, but Your Word deliver us from them all. A righteous man will fall down seven times, God, but we get up every time.
We thank You for the anointing to get up. We thank you that we are like Timex watches – we can “take a lickin’ and keep right on tickin'”. The seed of Your Word is on the inside of our bellies, and we are rooted by rivers of living water and grounded in the right places – places of provision! We are not hanging out in dead and dry places that will cause our roots to wither.
God, because we have strong roots, we have strong fruits. We thank You that You are bringing us into a season where our blessings will no longer be underground, for You are displacing everything in our lives that is not like You.
We decree and we declare with apostolic authority that You have given us beauty for ashes. You have given us the oil of joy for mourning. You have given us the garments of praise to replace the spirits of heaviness so that we can stand before creation as trees of righteousness.
God, we thank You right now for everything on the inside of us that lines up with everything on the inside of You.
Amen!
