Pray for Your Preacher
I know for real, any Preacher cannot preach about something he does not know for sure.
He cannot preach a moving sermon, unless he himself is moved first.
Daniel could not preach about the Lion’s Den, until he came out.
The Three Hebrew Children, could not preach about The Fire, until they were in it walking with Jesus.
Moses could not deliver people in bondage in Egypt, but first he had to experience Slavery, he had to see it for himself, that the Pharaoh was not god.
Elijah could not preach until he heard the small voice speaking, and the wind blowing.
Jeremiah could not warn of the coming destruction until God showed him visions of the coming destruction.
Isaiah could not fully preach until he saw The LORD High and Lifted UP. He could not talk of being purged of sin of his lips until he had felt the coal from off the altar.
John the Apostle, could not talk about Heaven until he had gone there and having been caught up, God showed him his Glory.
….. and so on.
Any preacher who has to have a sermon outline book, should shut up.
If God sends him a sermon, he gets it first.
The trouble is, today we have too many preachers talking about what they themselves have never seen!
The Apostle Paul did not come preaching about anything but Christ — and Him Crucified….. until he heard the message in the Desert Mountain.
Paul said this in 2 Corinthians 3:4-12,
“And such trust have we through Christ to God-ward: not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God; Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: how shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth.
For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech.”
If Paul had not known the glorious and the much more that remaineth glorious — then how could he describe it?
It is said in the same book to the Corinthians that Paul did not come to them as just a preacher with great swelling words and man’s wisdom. But, he came to them in the manifest power an demonstration The Power of God.
When Paul preached the people shook in real power. They set up then fell down. They were changed by the manifest power of God through Paul.
“And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified The LORD of glory.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” 1 Corinthians 2:1-13.
The Apostle Paul left his religion [he once had] at home. He came preaching the hidden Wisdom of God in Power, having himself been shown The Glory first.
Again Paul said: “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”
We need hart felt preaching that is straight from the throne, in the heart of a man who has walked with God in the Fire, and has been set on Fire from Heaven.
We need Fire Preachers, set on Fire of Heaven, going about preaching and the real fire falls.
Without such preaching, please know, we are sorely lacking the needed thing.
Most preachers today who are preaching have been to the seminary — UPS — That is right.
Seminary trained preachers who have to use notes and poems to take up the time.
Most preachers today don’t have enough power to blow the dust off of a dander. They are so narrow minded, they cannot see Jesus, and walk in weakness for they might fall.
Where are the preachers who preach?
Where are they who have walked with god and come to tell us about it?
Where are they?
…… In training yet.
Pray for them, for unless they see first and experience the real Jesus and the real Power of God, they will never preach and move men to decision.
Why would anyone want to listen to a dead preacher?
The answer is: They are dead themselves and cannot hear!
Caption on picture: Peter could preach about Prison and Praise God in bonds, and about his Deliverance, because, He had been there and done that, and was delivered!

Amen amen amen Pastor Dewey. Been looking for a church for years where pastor has experienced Gods power and I can’t find one. Seems like they are doing preaching business as usual to earn a living. So very very sad. Where are the brave fearless men who will preach in the face of persecution. I can’t find them. Thank you for being brave and bold!!
