Pray and Prophecy the Will of God for The Nations and Their Leaders

See with The Eyes of The Spirit
As a Prophet or Intercessor, one has to put away their personal political persuasions, biases, and preferences and see with the eyes of The Spirit beyond the natural.
The state of The Nations and the peace and prosperity of its people hang on the hinges of the leaders who put God first, operate in Godly Wisdom, Moral Integrity, and are aligned with God;s will.
We should Pray and Prophecy therefore, accordingly.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people — for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2.
“For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisers.” Proverbs 11:14.
“When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.” Proverbs 29:2.
“Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.” Romans 13:1.
“Endow the king with your justice, O God, the royal son with your righteousness. May he judge your people in righteousness, your afflicted ones with justice.” Psalm 72:1-2.
“In The LORD’s hand the king’s heart is a stream of water that he channels toward all who please him.” Proverbs 21:1.
Pray and Prophecy the Will of God for The Nations and Their Leaders
Everybody knows that when America 🇺🇲 coughs, the world world — including Jamaica 🇯🇲 — will sneeze, or when one sneezes, the other catches a cold.
In essence what this is saying, is whatever the state of that Nation is in, it will have a significant impact economically, in trades, financially, and certain policies morally and ethically on a global scale.
I do believe that God is still intervening in the affairs of man, and has appointed people who will make Intercessions for and on the behalf of earthly rulers and who will declare The Counsel of God, those to whom the Arm of The LORD has been revealed!
There are numerous Scriptural passages that we can make mention of as examples in this case — Daniel 4:34-35, Isaiah 45:1, Romans 13:1.
In fact, Scriptures even declares in Proverbs 21 that:
“The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will,” Proverbs 21:1.
The Almighty Yah ruler and creator of all things — He is Sovereign!
Therefore it is His Will, His Policies that that eventually bears rule, and particularly, as it pertains to those in positions of Power Authority and Influence even their decisions and actions are ultimately under God’s Control.
“Surely the Lord God does nothing,
Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
A lion has roared!
Who will not fear?
The LORD God has spoken!
Who can but prophesy?” Amos 3:7-8.
God does nothing on the earth unless He reveals His secrets to His servants the prophets and several prophets were closely involved with governmental affairs, either by advising kings, delivering messages from God regarding national issues, or holding official positions within the government — prophets such as:
- SAMUEL, who served as a judge and prophet, anointing the first two kings of Israel, Saul and David;
- NATHAN, who during the reign of King David, advised David and confronted him about his sins, such as his affair with Bathsheba and the subsequent murder of her husband, Uriah;
- ELIJAH who was a prominent prophet in the northern kingdom of Israel and frequently confronted King Ahab and his wife Jezebel, challenging their idolatry and injustice;
- ISAIAH served as a prophet during the reigns of several kings of Judah, including Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah. Isaiah provided counsel and delivered prophecies concerning the nation’s future;
- JEREMIAH the “weeping prophet,” who prophesied during the last days of the kingdom of Judah. He also advised kings and delivered messages about the impending Babylonian exile;
- DANIEL served in high governmental positions in Babylon and later in the Persian Empire. Daniel interpreted dreams and visions for kings like Nebuchadnezzar and Darius and played a significant role in the administration of these empires and
- JOSEPH “the Dreamer” though not explicitly categorized as a prophet we learn of him serving as the second-in-command in Egypt, advising Pharaoh and managing the country’s resources during a time of famine…
The God who was yesterday, is the same God today. He is the Alpha and the Omega.
Is God still speaking and revealing His Will concerning a Nation and its kings? Most certainly He is!
I believe that God is still appointing leaders, providing guidance, protection and provision, convicting the hearts and minds of individuals to bring about His Purpose and bringing Divine Correction, Judgement and Justice.
