Pour Out Your Heart for Breakthrough
Beloved, I come to you today with a heavy heart, to see BREAKTHROUGH in The Nations.
I keep hearing The LORD say, “Pray until you see something happen! Isn’t that what you always taught the Intercessors about prayer?”
Travailing Prayer always brings breakthrough.
Weeping Prayer pours out our soul like water before The LORD, and brings change to our crisis. Lamentations 2:19)
Our tears have a voice and a language all their own. When we pour out our heart, God breaks our hearts for the things that break His Heart.
We are blessed to share in His Grief, His Pain, His Provision, and the actual pouring out of His Love as we allow ourselves to be broken bread, and poured out wine, in the place of prayer.
Lamentations 3:12-13 says: “He drew his bow and made me the target for his arrow. He pierced my heart with arrows from His quiver.”
When The LORD pierces our heart, or allows us to be burdened about a person, or a situation, and in this case, a Nation, it brings us to a place of travailing.
This manifest in several ways, but many times begins with heaviness to our soul, weeping and deep concern.
Travail means ‘to birth or to have a birthing anointing.
Nothing will be birthed without travail. The Hebrew word “Odino” as referred to in Galatians 4:19 translates to experience the pain of parturition, travail in birth. Other New Testament scriptures you might find helpful are John 16:21, 1 Thessalonians 2:9, Romans 8:22, and 1 Thessalonians 5:3.
Travail — a birthing anointing — also translates to bear; to have a conception and then deliver it; to be troubled; to toil and writhe in pain; to feel a weight upon you. It is a type of burden bearing.
Many have mistaken travail for depression. Initially, Intercessors often interpret travail emotionally and become introspective, looking inward and thinking something is wrong with them.
We must be careful not to take the burden into our own emotions, but recognize it is not about us, but the drawing of The LORD to birth, or an opportunity to partner with God to war.
When The Holy Spirit takes over with travail, He will often have groanings that cannot be expressed in words. You may not know what the travail is about, until you yield to it.
God is calling people to travail in prayer:
“The LORD will march out like a mighty man, like a warrior He will stir up His zeal..” Isaiah 42:13-14.
When you enter into Travailing Prayer, stay with it until the burden is lifted, because there is something God wants to birth.
The LORD says, “I AM telling you the situation is critical… and I tell you the Truth of the matter is, you may weep and mourn while the world rejoices, but know this, you will grieve, but your grief will turn to Joy.
For your pain is endured for a short time, but when the ‘baby’ is born, you shall forget the anguish, because your heart with be overflowing with The Joy of True Breakthrough,” says The LORD.
Jesus travailed in the Garden of Gethsemane:
“And being in anguish, He prayed more earnestly, and His sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground” Luke 22:44.
The travail that Jesus experienced was prophesied in Isaiah 53:11. It says, He shall see the fruit of the travail of His Soul and be satisfied. He poured out His life Blood for the satisfaction of the sin penalty.
The work of travail did not end at the Cross. We, in turn, as Intercessors, draw on that completed work when we enter into His Travail as we pray for that work to be applied to our generation.
We are in a time of New Beginnings, and I keep hearing The LORD call for Intercessors to build, establish, and release The Kingdom of God on earth in this hour.
America desperately need The Prayer Army to awaken, arise and advance. It is time to weep a river of tears. Read Joel 2:12-14.
“Now, therefore,” says The LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.”
So rend your heart, and not your garments; return to The LORD your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm.
Who knows if He will turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind Him — a grain offering and a drink offering for The LORD your God?” Joel 2:12-14.
If there was ever a time for us to get hold of the horns of the altar, it is now. If ever there was a time to cry out for Mercy and Unity in our land, it is now. We must blend our hearts together and use our voices to cry out to God.
I prophesied a Word a while back published here on HKP called “Travail to Prevail” and I am including this excerpt here now:
“Are you willing to be a conduit for travail?
The treasure of travail is a powerful gift in your arsenal that always brings breakthrough!
The LORD spoke clearly to me yesterday that, unless we fast and pray, and weep before The LORD with true repentance for the sins of our nation, we are finished!
What does that mean, I asked … for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of The LORD. He then released a heavy burden for breakthrough to repent, rescue and restore!
Beloved, each of the nine gifts of The Spirit have a purpose and bear fruit in our spiritual lives. But The LORD is calling forth the weapons of Fasting and Prayer in this time of great battle for America and the nations of the world.
One of the most misunderstood yet tremendously powerful breakthrough is Travail. (Lamentations 2:19)
I have been hearing The LORD call out to me for months now. “Call for the wailing women. It is time for the tears that produce miracles to begin to flow. Your tears have a voice in the heavenlies.
The outpouring of your soul that begins with heaviness and groaning will push forth the victory as release comes, so will change break forth and prevail,” says The LORD.
“So reach out and embrace this monumental time to teach them to weep and bring to birth the intercession so desperately needed to build, establish and release the Kingdom of God on earth.”
It is urgent to heed the word from The Book of Jeremiah, who tells us to weep. Jeremiah 9:17-20 is calling for the mourning women to hear the word of The LORD and teach our daughters to weep before it is too late.
We must seize the day and yield to rescue, recover and restore all! He is so touching hearts with the things that break His heart and it is causing weeping and wailing in the secret place as we embrace His love and heart for those who are perishing.
[….]
As we YIELD to the call of travail, there is awaiting us the promise of sure breakthrough and miraculous intervention.
[….]
Many times we are at a crossroads between life and death in The Spirit. Beloved, I believe we are indeed at that place now in America.
Our groaning actually is bringing deliverance form within, and pushing the pressures of darkness back from without. The task is bigger than us but the groaning produces movement in The Spirit.
[….]
I feel led to repeat an excerpt from a word given to me in July 2019 “Enter Into the Birthing Room” as a reminder of things we must consider and press into in this very strategic hour.
“I heard The LORD clearly say this morning, “Intercessors, it is a monumental moment in time and the clock is ticking. It is time to press in and get on with it. It is time to go into labor with the birth pains you are experiencing.
Just as there have been many natural abortions take place, there also have been many spiritual abortions in this hour of great pain and pressure.
The pressure calls for pressing in and pressing down and release. Labor is intense but short lived while value and purpose of that which is being birthed lasts a lifetime!”
Hard, painful and wonderful… some seasons are the kind that leave stretch marks on your soul as it brings birth to the new.”
So once again, I hear the Voice of The LORD saying, “Blow a trumpet in Zion and sound the alarm!”
Great shall be the army that gathers to carry out His Word. “I AM drawing you to take your seat in heavenly places and receive supernatural encounters with the Host of heaven as you prepare for these end-time battles.”

Oh Priscilla, It is true there is just something different from a ‘beggar’ that is always there or the ‘usual’ as you said and the one who is truly broken and hungry. He is hungry for ‘real food’ and not just a quick fix. Blessings, Sandi
♥️♥️Yes!!! Yesterday coming home where I exited fwy there was a homeless man begging so I gave him $20 bucks and there wasn’t much time for him to respond because traffic started moving or for me to talk more but I couldn’t stop crying & praying on my way home . He wasn’t the usual homeless we run into here in that he was skin & bones. He looked like a holocaust victim!!♥️♥️
Thank you for posting this. Makes so much more sense now especially where scripture supports the meaning of intercessory prayers. Travailing intercession has so much more deeper meaning now…. I’ve been trying to understand what type of prayers make a more profound effect for greater outcomes . Prayers that penetrates Gods heart to move in the Spiritual realm. I trust that this will effectively improve my prayer life and to have a more meaningful relationship with our Heavenly Father. Praise Jesus! Breakthrough in the midst as at hand…. May The Holy Spirit anoint this message to move upon the entire True Spirit Filled Church Body’s Hearts… God Bless you Tremendously for sharing this Urgent Message…
Dear B-33-J, You are so welcome. My heart is being so filled with anguish for the world, the church and those prayer warriors who are carrying a big load. So glad that it was helpful to you. Praying He will move the hearts of God’s people the urgency to cry out to the only one who has the answers. God bless you richly for sharing your heart and responding to the need. Sincerely, Sandi Holman
This is for me, a wailing woman. I have found myself weeping and praying over the last year or two and then finding out those prayers were of the “effectual” kind, like never before. I appreciate this teaching.
God bless you rsg, it is the short-term assignment that bears fruit for a lifetime. I am so glad it was ‘for you’. I appreciate your response and so grateful you are a wailing woman for God. Blessings to you, Sandi Holman
Me too. So thankful for this word Sandi. I sent this on to two other of my weeping travailing friends in my prayer group. It means so much to me to read this. I’ve questioned why am I always crying (not from depression). Glad to hear there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Dear Lois, In the city I grew up in and was crying all the time, and yielding to intercession and didn’t know what I know now, people made fun of me (it was in the early charismatic movement) and still today that is all those same ‘spiritual’ people remember about me.(smile).I have learned people who aren’t in the spirit often are cruel and foolish. I asked myself the same ? dear one but I realize those tears are real deep sorrow as I hear the Lord say, ‘it breaks my heart to see those who are so captured by the flesh, the devil and the world.’ Bless you, I am glad it helped. Sincerely, Sandi Holman
