Position Yourselves to Receive the Glory and the Gold!
The Spirit of The LORD said to Jehoshaphat the king, Judah and Jerusalem: “Position yourselves…” (for victory, for blessing, for super-abundance).
And, oh, what VICTORY, what ABUNDANCE they had!
2 Chronicles 20:1-30 is one of the most inspiring Bible passages for spiritual warfare and certain victory and GREAT blessing.
The LORD lovingly encouraged His people, saying: Do not be afraid or dismayed because of the enemy, “this great multitude” that has come against you.
The LORD then gave them a battle strategy: “go down against them”. (In other words, RESIST the devil! James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:8-9).
The LORD also exposed the enemy’s plans to them, and added: “Do not fear or be dismayed… go out against them, for The LORD is with you.”
IMMEDIATELY, “Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before The LORD, worshiping The LORD.
Then the Levites of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites stood up to praise The LORD God of Israel with voices loud and high.”
Oh, Jehoshaphat and his people knew how to move God to move for them: by seeking Him, by asking for His help, by declaring a fast, by worshiping Him, by engaging in high praises to The LORD.
When in fear, he put faith in God: “And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek The LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. So Judah gathered together to ask help from The LORD; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek The LORD.”
God never disappoints whoever makes appointments with Him — earnestly, fervently to seek Him, to fast and pray, to worship Him, to praise Him.
As reliable as His Word, The LORD indeed showed up for Jehoshaphat and his people MOST SPECTACULARLY.
“Now when they began to sing and to praise, The LORD set ambushes against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; and they were defeated.”
“When Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away their spoil, they found among them an abundance of valuables on the dead bodies, and precious jewelry, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away; and they were three days gathering the spoil because there was so much.”
My beloved brethren, let’s position ourselves to receive super-abundance of the glory and the gold, The Spirit and the silver God is releasing right now.
Let’s earnestly, fervently seek The LORD, ask help from Him, fast and pray, worship Him, praise Him.
The Spiritual Strategy
Deeply heartfelt thanksgiving and praise are indispensable when we come before The LORD, (Psalm 100:4).
Repenting for personal, parental, ancestral, national, (even global) and other sins is key to having prayer answered, having God move for us.
Please pray Daniel 9:1-19 (audibly) from your heart. Mention your name in the place of “Daniel”.
Then, for as many days as you are led by The Holy Spirit, keep praying vv. 17-19 (i.e. Daniel 9:17-19).
Also, you must be joyfully “expecting to receive something from [God]” (Acts 3:4-5). Expectation is a very important spiritual element of having prayer answered.
Let the joy set before you (the blessing, the prize, the victory) invigorate you to endure in contending, (Hebrews 12:2).
Stay continually in the place of prayer, (Habakkuk 2:1; Colossians 4:2).
When The LORD led me to declare the 12 Days of Passover Prayer and Fasting (via HKP) to receive the blessing He is pouring out right now, a user of HKP called Katende (from Zambia), emailed me in response.
We have since had a number of email conversations about effectual, fervent prayer and other spiritual matters.
I discerned that he is a chosen vessel of The LORD, “not lagging in diligence, very fervent in spirit, serving The LORD”, (Acts 9:15; Romans 12:11).
Two days ago, he told me he had a dream in which he was in a certain area [and wanted to leave the place]. As he tried to leave, a man appeared to him and encouraged him to stay in the place.
He wondered what the man meant. Just then, another man said to him expressly that God was about to begin blessing his people in the coming week or month.
Katende’s dream being so wonderful and instructive, I sought his permission to share it with The Body of Christ via HKP, with attribution.
Interpretation
The encouragement to stay in the place is a Divine instruction (Job 33:14-16) to remain in the place of effective fervent prayer (James 5:16; Habakkuk 2:1).
Yes, to “Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving” (Colossians 4:2), indeed, in repentance (Daniel 9), in holiness (Hebrews 12:14), “by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering [patience], by kindness, by The Holy Spirit, by sincere love, by The Word of Truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,” (2 Corinthians 6:6-7).
( Brethren, righteousness is the greatest armour in God! )
Our God is plainly saying that He is about to begin blessing his people in the coming week or month.
Come on then, brethren, let’s press in, (Luke 16:16). This is the time, this is our time to take it by Kingdom Force, (Matthew 11:12).
Katende’s dream is greatly encouraging.
He also shared with me that he had another dream earlier in which he and two friends were working around the house. The friends started talking about how they would celebrate the new year, which, according to the dream, began on Monday [23rd March].
I believe March refers to the first month on God’s calendar (The Passover month), which falls in March/ April on the Gregorian calendar.
In other words, on God’s calendar, the New Year begins with the first month, (Exodus 12:2) which falls in March/ April.
( The first month of the year is called Abib, pronounced “Aviv” in Hebrew; it was also named Nisan after the Babylonian captivity.
This beginning of year is different from Rosh Hashanah celebrated with trumpets in the month of Tishri which falls in September/October, according to the Gregorian calendar. It is the beginning of the new agricultural year. )
Therefore, this Passover month is actually the beginning of our New Year in God!
And The LORD says: “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert,” (Isaiah 43:19).
Only believe and ask Him. Remember Jabez (1 Chronicles 4:9-10).
Ask God to bless you and ENLARGE your territory, right NOW!
Pray like Jabez. Let The Holy Spirit help you, give you utterance in prayer.
Believe and obey.
As Mary the mother of Jesus said regarding obeying Him, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”
When you do, He will surely turn water into the best ever wine for you.
Oh, taste and see that The LORD is GOOD! (Psalms 34:8).
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.
~ Jacob Awagah
Jacob, an apostle of Jesus Christ by The Will of God, according to The Promise of Life which is in Christ Jesus, (2 Timothy 1:1). As John was, Jacob is the disciple whom JESUS loves, (John 13:23;19:26; 20:2; 21:7,20). And like Paul, Jacob is “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
“And having been perfected, He became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
