God gave us a word to grow from: “Plumb Line Prophets Are Rising!”

For months and months, the LORD has been revealing things to me about purifying the prophetic.

This journey has been amazing, because with every step He has been purifying ME.

This brought me to make many changes in my life; some of them were drastic, but they were absolutely necessary.

He gave me and my husband powerful dreams about the contaminated waters of the prophetic.

It’s too much to say in this post, but as we have taken this journey, it’s amazing how He keeps sending us more revelations.

He directed us to attend a conference together to hear Jeremiah Johnson, from Behold the Man Ministries, speak.

He even gave my husband a powerful confirming Word that ties into all of this while we were there.

From there we began to read Jeremiah’s three books: The Micaiah Company, I see a New Prophetic Generation, and one on Apostolic Reformation.

As we read them, Holy Spirit takes us through His Word and gives us more powerful revelations.

YOU GUYS – God is doing something amazing in this hour. We share our journey out of love. He’s trying to get our attention.

The spirit of divination is running amok in the prophetic stream. You need to ask Him for eyes and ears to stay out of it all.

He’s trying to spare you from more heartache down the road. We have listened to our pastor’s series on ‘Pastoring the Prophetic.’ We have read other trusted voices who are beginning to say the same.

The list goes on and on. As He has led us to make several changes in our lives, we saw a lot within ourselves.

I’ve seen personally how much selfish ambition has contaminated the waters. I can say that, because He brought me out of it myself.

You couldn’t have told me then that I had any, but if you let Him hold the mirror up, He will show you things you can’t see, hidden in your inward parts.

This topic isn’t going to go away. It’s coming to the surface more and more as the days pass.

Even today I found myself talking with my dear friend (and relative) Shonda. She had a series of dreams and has begun to unpack some powerful revelations.

As we spoke she said, “It’s going to take me 365 days to get the fullness of it all.”

I responded, “Do you realize what a mature prophet you are, that you can chew on it at length without the urge to bust it out on social media? You’re in a very good place.”

Listen beloved, it’s good to chew on stuff. Being in a hurry to release “words” doesn’t help anyone.

We need to be sure we have released His heart with purity and with every detail that He would have us release.

We are His conduits, speaking in His name. It’s a big deal.

There’s so much selfish ambition out there. It would be easy to fall into it. Guard yourself!

Don’t be tempted to release your latest revelation without having a full release.

Even timing matters to God! Selfish ambition opens you up to the demonic (James 3), and I see it more now than I ever did. Many times things get released and it’s laced with contamination.

God is raising up prophets of purity. Those who won’t add or take away one word, jot, or tittle from Him.

The Body can’t function properly if the food (words) being released aren’t pure and in order.

Months ago I laid “me” down. I refuse to pimp the prophetic. I will not write books, release words or videos anymore on social media, or speak at another conference, until He has completed this work in me.

I will keep myself accountable to every single person God places in my life for my good and His glory.

If it takes two months, two years, or two decades, I do not care. I care that He is pleased with me.

I care that every word I speak I will answer for. I care that when I release words in any way, that people see Him and Him alone, and that’s all I care about.
