Pleading the Blood
“She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet,” Proverbs 31:21.
What the Lord emphasized to me in this yesterday was that we have stopped the practice of pleading the Blood over our households!
Pleading the blood was not something done as a parrot would say,”I plead the Blood” as if it were magic words. God showed me many years ago that pleading the Blood was when we stand over our household as a watchman or watch woman and believe what the blood purchased for us and our children!
I am thus standing and decreeing what His Blood on the cross paid for, speaking His promises that belong to me as I am standing!
The Angels hearken unto the voice of His word (Psalms 103) and so as I stand decreeing, they go to work on our behalf and on behalf of my children! In the scripture here, this Proverbs 31 woman is not afraid of bad weather ahead because she has her family covered in scarlet! It was also the scarlet rope that Rahab the harlot hung out of her window so that she saved herself and others alive.
I believe the Lord is saying to us,
“It is time to plead the blood of My covenant over your households again!
Stand in the midst of the hardships and temptations of the enemy and declare what My Blood has done for you and your children.
Do not be moved off of what has already been purchased at Calvary, for it was there that I said…. ~It is finished!~
Stand therefore having your loins girt about with truth! And having done all to stand, stand! For it is my blood that was shed for you so that you and your households will be saved! My angels are awaiting your faith filled words at this very moment! Shout, “it is finished!”
