Pick Up Your Towel!
As I celebrate my 53rd birthday today… I reflect on my life.
There have been MANY trials, MANY snares, and honestly there have been times I wanted to throw in the towel and give in… BUT GOD!
At those times (and we all have them) I am reminded of a sermon The LORD gave me.
When Jesus could have thrown in the towel and left us with NO options for redemption he stayed the course.
HE physically picked up the towel washing the feet of the disciples.
HE knew the time had come.. .the rubber had met the road and still HE humbled himself and washed their feet! HE moved ahead knowing what was coming.
I say to you today, my friends, when times get tough let us remember to pick up our towels, humble ourselves before The LORD, pull ourselves and others out of the pit and forge ahead!
Believe me I know it can be difficult walking through the fire… 🔥 HE is the WAY. HE is the TRUTH. HE is the LIFE, (John 14:6)
Some days I need to remind myself of this often during trouble.
I am reminding you TODAY to not give up GOD’S got you and me!
Let us look forward to 2020 with expectation and declarations of HIS goodness for our lives!
“Pick Up Your Towel” and forge ahead in the power and might of The LORD!
Blessings and HIS abundant grace to you!

Beautiful.
Happy 53rd Birthday! My wife’s birthday today too.
“53” jumped out at me as I was studying Is 53 earlier this morning. Very appropriate in light of your above words.
