Peter’s Vision — Clean & Unclean
2 Words in 1
The Lion Roars
I hear a lion roar — he’s declaring his presence and his territory.
There’s something comfortingly familiar in the sound, yet terrifying too. Some lions growl, roar and fuss, but you know it’s only a protest — your heart says, “Oh, its only you!!”, and Satan turns away again, disappointed.
Not so when The Lion of Judah roars — the whole of creation sits up to listen. We hear His voice, and we listen.
“Hear My roar”, says The Lion of Judah, “It is a battle cry — a Call to Arms — a Call to War.
Hoist up My Royal Standard! Raise it high, so that the world can see where you stand.
Raise My Royal Standard in the cities! Raise it in the mountains! Raise it on the high seas — in the desert, on the fertile plains.
The world is balanced on an edge, waiting for you to declare your allegiance to Me.
The world is waiting for your lead — waiting for your war cry! Waiting, wishing, wanting, yearning for someone — you — to declare war on sin.
The world is waiting for a return to moral decency. They hear Me roar too — oh yes, they hear Me even though they don’t know Me.
They tremble, assuming My roar to be the roar of terror stalking them, coming ever closer. But My sheep know My Voice and they hear My roar with joy.
United Kingdom — stay united in Me and I shall restore you.
America — gather together in My Name and see once again the power of My Spirit as He sweeps ALL before Him.
Europe, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand — hear the Lion of Judah roar His summons to you.
All of you, you hear My Roar, My Call to Arms, My battle cry!
Gather around Me! Come together in unity in My Name.
Listen to those sent to warn you, to guide you, to lead you, and together we will rebuild The Church, My beloved Bride ready for My return.”
The Lion of the Tribe of Judah strides impatiently back and forth, roaring His eagerness for His Bride.
Can you hear Him too?
Peter’s Vision — Clean & Unclean
The LORD just drew my attention to Peter’s vision in Acts 10:9-16.
It’s very interesting. He particularly drew my focus upon verse 12. It’s been with me for several days now, and I believe I’m supposed to share it.
“The next day, as they were traveling and nearing the city, Peter went up to pray on the housetop about noon. Then he became hungry and wanted to eat, but while they were preparing something, he went into a visionary state. He saw heaven opened and an object that resembled a large sheet coming down, being lowered by its four corners to the earth.
In it were all the four-footed animals and reptiles of the earth, and the birds of the sky.
Then a voice said to him, “Get up, Peter; kill and eat!” “No, Lord!” Peter said. “For I have never eaten anything common and ritually unclean!” Again, a second time, a voice said to him, “What God has made clean, you must not call common.” This happened three times, and then the object was taken up into heaven.” Acts 10:9-16
Verse 12 – ALL (emphasis mine) four footed animals, reptiles, and birds. ALL includes pigs, monkeys, and dogs. ALL reptiles? It doesn’t mention fish, crustaceans, whales, or porpoises — I wonder why?
I asked what was I looking at and why? I mean, the Jewish dietary laws are pretty straightforward and well understood, so what was God saying here?
Personally, I eat just about any meat sold in a butcher’s shop — just about any meat, you understand — not everything! This includes pork, which in Kosher terms is about as forbidden as it gets!
I’m sure, by now, I’ve stirred up all sorts of opinions, especially about eating pork, and snakes and other very undesirable types of meat.
But I’m a pragmatist and I see what is written and I take it fairly literally. I mean, the words, “What God has made clean, you must not call common.(unclean)” are fairly plainly spoken and written, although I’m sure many will find other hidden or unspoken alternative interpretations!
So, what’s my point, or more relevantly, what is God saying right now?
We are coming up to a very much prophesied period of uncertainty. A period, possibly, it is said of ‘ten days of darkness’, and I believe The LORD is saying to His People the same as He said to Peter, “What God has made clean, you must not call unclean!
During the coming times of strife and shortages — there will be shortages — provide for yourselves and those around you, as best you can, whatever you can out of all the provision I’ve made for you!”
In other words, all food is good food!
Indeed in Genesis 1:20-31 we see that God created ALL life and plants for food, “and it was very good!”
The LORD also reminded me of prophecies that spoke of the Christian community being the providers for many, if not all, in need during the ‘days of darkness’, when many things will be shut down.
It’s even been prophesied that it could be much longer than just ten days — up to three months even. I don’t hear anything other than ‘ten days’, but perhaps we need to be prepared for longer.
I believe The LORD is saying that, during that time, however long it may be, any food is good food, and some we don’t normally consider as food too! Excuse the bad pun, but it’s all food for thought.
I’m really not looking for arguments or even discussion, but when The LORD Himself shows me something like this, then I believe that I’m supposed to share it with everybody.

Prophet Chris,
I think they are inferring that prophetic revelation often has many depths of interpretation to it.
Horses for courses, as it were, to use a food analogy.
Blessings!
Mark 7:18-19
18 “Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him ‘unclean’? 19 For it doesn’t go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods “clean.”)
NIV
Reference Peter’s vision – Sorry to say Chris that this is a common incorrect interpretation. Nothing to do with diet!
The purpose and meaning of Peter’s vision is quite plainly that Peter (and all Jews) should no longer believe that Gentiles coming to faith in the God of Israel are unclean (unacceptable by God) or common (unholy).

The Lord has placed upon my heart for several years to store up food. My husband and I are seniors we have two freezers and I have been canning food for three years. Why would two seniors need that amount of food? you ask even my husband shakes his head at me in disbelief. I understand that this prep is not just for us and we have been able to bless others during their times of need. The food prep I’ve done might not be to everyone’s liking or religious beliefs but,it is amazing what one will eat when you are hungry. This preparation is out of obedience to the Father. So I’m going to Let God do God and I’ll continue to store up until told otherwise
Amen – The thought of some type of food storage has resonated in my mind at one point. And just like you, almost simultaneous, the overflow for others. God bless your household.
Thank you for your kind words. God bless your household too.
I’m w/Peter – tho I do like bacon – in extreme will do caviar – His grace IS sufficient. Prayers before meals are encouraged. But we can suppose the options to be relative to culture/s. Fish to flesh – God is no respecter of what’s on plates or persons Gal.3:26-29
