People Are Destroyed for Lack of Knowledge
In America today The LORD has a controversy with the inhabitants of this land because there is No Truth, No Mercy, and No… Knowledge of God.
Men are ignorant of The Word, and thus they are being destroyed.
The LORD gave me this passage of scripture this very morning and spoke about “People are destroyed because of Lack of knowledge!”
Text:
“Hear The Word of The LORD, ye children of Israel: for The LORD hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land.
By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
Therefore shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven; yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
Yet let no man strive, nor reprove another: for thy people are as they that strive with the priest.
Therefore shalt thou fall in the day, and the prophet also shall fall with thee in the night, and I will destroy thy mother.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Hosea 4:1-6.
The devil has achieved much success when he destroyed in the minds of the people the need for The Word of God.
People have rejected knowledge. That knowledge comes from the Light of The Word of God…. but, men will not read or study it.. and they have been led to trust other things and not The Word.
When The Word of God is set up on the shelf and not read, people perish because of lack of knowledge [or understanding] of God Himself.
If anyone wants to know who The LORD is and understand Him [what sort of person He is and why he does what He does] all he has to do is study The Word.
The Word will reveal to them Who God is and then they will walking in knowledge. But men are deceived not knowing who God really is and why God works like he works.
If men only understood that God is HOLY and cannot allow sin in his presence, then they would understand why God has to judge sin.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing by The Word of God.
Yet men have been turned away from reading and understanding The Word of God.
No wonder men are being destroyed today…. there is ignorance in the land by lack of hearing The Word of God.
If I were the devil..
The first thing I would do is work hard to bring doubt and misunderstanding over The Word of God.
I would know that If I could get men to stop reading and hearing The Word [laws of God], I would win and men would be lost.
