Passover, Our Future, & God’s Vengeance
“It is the GLORY of GOD to conceal a thing, but the Glory of Kings is to search out a thing.” Proverbs 25:2
Thus it is for us to search and find the revelations GOD often puts right before our eyes, but we see it not, as its “hidden in plain sight” and we haven’t always taken time to learn to search for Truth.
Part of understanding Revelation is often wrapped up in history. I love history, I think because my Dad loved it so much and I’ve always felt there was so much to learn in it.
I believe that’s one of the reasons I love the Chronological Bible so much, because it puts all the history from the Bible in chronological order, or the way it happened.
So to me, it makes it easier to understand. We, as mankind need to study more of the history in The Bible and use extra Biblical sources, along with archeological finds, and historians to learn everything we can about the people, traditions, cultures. gods, languages, etc during the time period we are studying from The Bible, so we better understand what GOD and the writers meant for us to understand.
Our meanings, language, ways we do things, etc are so totally different from theirs much of the time, that we can easily assume something (because of RELIGION , PRIDE, or other interfering spirits) and totally misunderstand the intended meaning by GOD and the writers, so other sources such as the Septuagint, Books of Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher, and others, as well as historians of those times can really open your eyes to the wonder and revelation God intends for us to see.
Adding archeological finds puts the icing on the cake! We can then more fully learn of the mistakes and victories of GOD’S creation before our time.
One of the strategies the enemy has used against mankind has been to literally bury or hide the past through destruction of books, records, cities, archeological treasures, and more.
This is so we would not learn the lessons of their mistakes and victories, so we would repeat mistakes and lose, not win both spiritually and physically.
David is an example in many ways, both good and bad. David sought counsel from The LORD regarding strategies.
“[Ahimelech] inquired of The LORD for him [David], and gave him provisions and the sword of Goliath the Philistine.” 1 Samuel 22:10
“Then David inquired of The LORD again. The LORD answered him, Arise, go down to Keilah, for I will deliver the Philistines into your hand.
So David and his men went to Keilah and fought the Philistines with a great slaughter and brought away their cattle. So David delivered the people of Keilah.” 1 Samuel 23:4-5
Therefore he was usually very successful in overcoming the enemy, because he followed the directions from The LORD.
However, he wasn’t as successful regarding things closer to his heart, such as women and his children. It was because he then would follow his heart, rather than The LORD’s, which often had heartbreaking results.
Back to Passover. Papa kept reminding me of Passover coming up quickly. So I looked up the dates to try figure out what He wanted me to see and understand.
Passover starts Wed, April 5, at sundown and ends Thurs, April 13, at sundown.
The Israelites were obedient to follow The LORD’s directions for their first Passover and it saved many lives. By marking their doorposts, their homes were “passed over”. However the Egyptians were not as blessed.
“At midnight The LORD slew every firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh who sat on his throne to the firstborn of the prisoner in the dungeon, and all the firstborn of the livestock.” Exodus 12:29
The Israelites then picked up their belongings and more and left Egypt.
“The Israelites did according to the word of Moses; and they [urgently] asked of the Egyptians jewels of silver and of gold, and clothing. The LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they gave them what they asked. They stripped the Egyptians [of those things].” Exodus 12:35-36
The Israelites left Egypt, after 430 years of slavery.
Thus, the Israelites left their past life of slavery and walked into their new future with The LORD, through obedience to follow The LORD’s Directions and Strategies.
“At the end of the 430 years, even that very day, all the hosts of The LORD went out of Egypt.” Exodus 12:41
“When The LORD brings you into the land of the Canaan- ites, Hittites, Hivites, Amorites, and Jebusites, which He promised and swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey [a land of plenty], you shall keep this service in this month.)” Exodus 13:5
Passover started a movin’ and shakin’ for the Israelites unlike anything they’d experienced before.
That’s pretty parallel to what mankind’s been going through, a whole lot of movin’ and shakin’ mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and financially, which means change has come, for some in more ways than they could have imagined.
The LORD has said, “The changes mankind has experienced do not compare to what is before them.
For change will continue to be at your door, increasing in speed and expanding more, than mankind knows or understands at this time.
So much of what mankind has been through parallels with the Israelites journey out of Egypt, and the years afterwards.
I have some HUGE SURPRISES waiting to pour out over My Beloveds! Some who have been waiting for changes that miracles bring are about to experience those changes.
Think of the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. Do you think they knew they’d be doing that the day before?
Even Moses didn’t know! Many of these changes will be so quick and unexpected, you will surely be surprised! Some will be life-changing and you will never be the same!
I also have HUGE SURPRISES in store for the evil ones as well. These are the ones who have been trying to destroy mankind and all of My Creation, for their glory.
But My Surprises for the evil ones will not be “happy” surprises, for I have always said, ‘Vengeance is Mine.'”
“Vengeance is Mine, and recompense, in the time when their foot shall slide; for the day of their disaster is at hand and their doom comes speedily.” Deuteronomy 32:35
God Bless You!
