Overwhelmed or Anointed?
I am sensing in my spirit that many are frustrated and feeling pressured to perform. His yoke is easy and his burden is light. He created a special yoke just for you; not too heavy, not to light, but just right.
He has been on me strong about REST in the LORD, and wait on Him, especially the next two and a half months. It is just as important to rest in the LORD as being on the front line in battle.
God knows what is coming in this season and the next, and we best spend time with Him in rest and rebuilding our reserves. We cannot do it all and when we are placed in position that we Must DO this, or that,
God doesn’t work this way. You will work from a place of rest, recovery, renewal and restoration. It is the LORD that breaks all yokes and makes us ready for more.
Man can do mighty feats but if the energy dies, what do you have left? Exhausted flesh! When God speaks it is out of his great love and concern for us; He knows how to prepare us and equip us. He knows us so well that we will not fail; God also knows when it is ready and time to happen in season.
The tower of Babel was a tower made by man, but God had to stop them. He does the same with us when we are too far extended and feel, “I got to do this and keep up, or I will miss out.“
We will fall with total exhaustion in our flesh if we don’t heed His Word. Being legalistic and doing the drill will only further your exhaustion. The remedy is to Rest in Him and rest your soul and body.
If you feel your being driven and overwhelmed please back off and talk with the LORD. God will give you his will in all this. You feel you have to do this now or you will miss out! NO YOU DON’T! All of the Rest is to prepare us for what is coming in the next season. God is a very good Father and knows best.
Lay hands suddenly on NO man.
We can get into things prematurely by excitement, being driven or trying to advance our own agenda! Surely we can get into things and be human doings, instead of human beings, get exhausted and not be ready to handle all of it.
If we try to make it happen, it can come in the form of judgment, as God will let us test our borders and we can either learn or not. You realize that the enemy knows your condition and if you don’t rest in the LORD and wait when He tells you, the enemy will come with demons that know you are a novice, exhausted or rebellious and will attack you. We can avoid a lot of heartache by learning to just BE who you are and be at peace and rest in the LORD.
Again Resting, Renewal, Recovery and Restoration, is just as important as being on the front lines for battle.
When God releases us, we have waited for the master to lead us into all truth, and be made ready by his preparation. God will give us a way of escape to be able to bear whatever comes. You will be ready and recovered!
We are to know those who labor among us.
I got to know those who labor for me and not let just anyone be my leader. That takes time to know a person. A premature release could cause really bad damage to precious souls we love and care about. Premature could cost a life because they didn’t allow God to prepare them. We must learn and know those among us, and we all should be hearing the same thing.
Not a novice lest they be lifted up in pride and fall into the trap of the enemy. Leaders are accountable who they release. People need pastoral teaching, training and the equipping of all the offices of the five fold ministry to prepare Gods people for works of service.
When you put people in positions to soon without KNOWING those who labor among us, is not biblical.
“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity,” 1 Timothy 4:12.
“I charge thee before God, and the LORD Jesus Christ, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without preferring one before another, doing nothing by partiality.
Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure,” 1 Timothy 5:21-22.
“Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil,” 1 Timothy 3:6-7.
“Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also,” 2 Timothy 2:1-2.
“And the servant of the LORD must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will,” 2 Timothy 2:24-26.
“But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them; And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works,” 2 Timothy 3:14-17.
