Prayer of Confession for Overcomers
A Proclamation
Let the Redeemed say so!1
My body is a temple for the Holy Spirit,2 redeemed,3 cleansed,4 and sanctified by the blood of Jesus.5
My members, the parts of my body, are instruments of righteousness,6 yielded to God for His service and for His glory.
The devil has not place in me, no power over me, no unsettled claims against me.
All have been settled by the blood of Jesus.7
I overcome Satan by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony, and I do not love my life to the death.8
My body is for the Lord and the Lord is for my body.9
Amen and Amen.
1 Psalm 107:2-2 “Let the redeemed of Jehovah say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy, and gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.”
2 First Corinthians 6:19-20a “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit in you, whom you have of God? And you are not your own, for you are bought with a price.”
3 Ephesians 1:7 “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”

5 Hebrews 13:12 “Therefore Jesus also, so that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate.”
6 Romans 6:13 “Do not yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but yield yourselves to God, as one alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.”
7 Romans 3:23-25 “or all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus; whom God has set forth to be a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness through the passing by of the sins that had taken place before, in the forbearance of God.”
Romans 8:33-34 “Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he condemning? It is Christ who has died, but rather also who is raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.”
8 Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony. And they did not love their soul until death.”
9 First Corinthians 6:13 “Meats for the belly and the belly for meats, but God shall destroy both it and them. But the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord is for the body.”
