Out Of The Mouth Of The Lion
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Out Of The Mouth Of The Lion
I delight to do Thy Will, O my God;
Thy Law is within my heart
My life is in Your Hands
Nothing the enemy does
Will go according to his plans
Who shall separate me from the Love of Christ?
Shall trouble or hardships or persecution or famine
Or nakedness or sword?
No, in all these things I am more
Than a conqueror through Him who loved me
Oh I shall not fear
What can mere mortals do to me
When God is right here by my side?
By the Mercies of God I am not consumed
The LORD stood with me and strengthened me
I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion
And The LORD will deliver me
From every evil work
And preserve me for His Kingdom
To Him be Glory forever and ever
Oh out of the mouth of the lion I came unscathed
Out of the fiery furnace I came unsinged
Out of the battle I came undefeated
The fiery darts and flames were no match
A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand
But the Valley of The Shadow of Death cannot touch me;
Its darkness and death pass over me
For my faith in Jesus reigns
I stand with my LORD — my Banner of Victory
To Him be Glory forever and ever!
Oh out of the mouth of the lion I came unscathed
Out of the fiery furnace I came unsinged
Out of the battle I came undefeated
The fiery darts and flames were no match
For my faith in Jesus reigns!
By the Mercies of God I am not consumed
The LORD stood with me and strengthened me
I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion
And The LORD will deliver me
From every evil work
And preserve me for His Kingdom
To Him be Glory forever and ever!
Out of the mouth of the lion
I have been delivered! Amen!
