Out of Double-Mindedness and Into Assurance!
The LORD is calling us to ascend beyond double-mindedness, distractions and unnecessary busyness.
There is a temptation to be self-centered and operate with a self-preservation mentality, but this is not Yahweh’s decree.
It’s time for us, as The Body of Christ, to have full assurance of our Faith (Hebrews 10:22).
This assurance has been proven by The LORD’s Goodness and Mercy.
Surely He has raised us up from death to life, provided the perfect sacrifice for our sins, delivered us from the snares of the fowler and given us a Hope and a future.
Our God deserves our assurance — not our double-mindedness.
The enemy desires to confound your emotions concerning the divine providence of God. The enemy also desires to sift the longings of the heart into an offense with God and double-mindedness, but do not allow the father of lies to sift you like wheat.
Fix your gaze upon The One Who knows you by name, gazing upon His Majesty will illuminate your path and give you the strength you need to be assured in your Faith.
Your Father in Heaven is rich in love and his intentions towards you are not malevolent.
Every closed door was necessary.
The failed relationships were inescapable.
Your opposers are insignificant.
You are saved, no grave will be able to hold your body down.
The present sufferings won’t compare to the glory that you have yet to behold.
Come out of double-mindedness and step into assurance.
Guard your ear and eye gates with the sword of the spirit, the helmet of salvation, the gospel of peace, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness and the shield of faith (Ephesians 6:10-17).
Protect your sight so that you can behold the wonder of The LORD. Much like Sanballat, Tobiah and Geshem, the distractions want your attention, but you can resist the temptation through the power of the Holy Spirit and the intentionality of your gaze to not be deceived into entertaining these distractions (Nehemiah 6).
Give God your attention and He will give you Assurance!
“..let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.” Hebrews 10:22
“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is The LORD’s purpose that prevails.” Proverbs 19:21
