Our Time in the Sheep Pen
“Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly,”” John 10:7-10, NKJV.
Dear Ones:
We must work His works while the Door is open. He is the open Door. We are called to go in and go out and find pasture.
What are the pasture and the sheep pen to us as spiritual sheep and children?
The secret place is likened to the sheep pen and not the pasture. It is a place close to the heart of The LORD, our Good Shepherd.
In the natural during the storm, the sheep are brought into the pen to shelter them, provide fodder (necessities of life), and protection from the elements.
The spiritual sheep pen is the place of secret communion with The LORD. We go in through Him and access the realm of The Kingdom of Light.
This is where we receive Kingdom resources (power and glory) by faith. This is where revelation explodes in us. We access resources (such as, healing virtues, financial strategies, special faith, etc.) and bring them back into this earth realm — the pasture.
Revelation knowledge is downloaded to us then we bring it back and share it with the brethren. Special graces, anointings, and mantles are received and activated.
They are to be used in this earth realm. This is how we release the Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven at the direction of the Spirit.
“Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven,” Matthew 6:10, NASB.
In life, when we experience storms, attacks, and times of testing, the secret place is our spiritual refuge.
This is where the Holy Spirit does the work of the Master Surgeon to heal our wounds: spiritual, soulish, and natural body. This is the place where we learn to rest in Him with confident hope that he is able to take care of everything: to love us like no one else can. (There is nothing too difficult for Him.)
This is where we sit with Him in deep communion releasing our love to Him in a deep and personal manner. This is where we learn to partake of the resources of the KING in His presence.
This is where we discover who we are in Him as He reveals His true identity to us in a personal and intimate way.
Take these words to The LORD in prayer. Seek HIS face for your particular circumstances.
No matter what happens in the natural world, HE is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Dig into the Scriptures and find rest in the secret place of the Most High.
Let HIS peace comfort you and give rest to your soul. Apply HIS Blood to your mind and inner ears to mute the voice of the dark one and his agents of evil.
Fear is an assassin and desires to kill your faith. But you do not have to let him in. HA! HA! He cannot pass through the Blood, so don’t go out to him. Stay in the sheep pen.
I bless you with HIS peace. The best is yet to be. All is well.
Shalom.
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of The LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler,” Psalm 91:1-5, NKJV
“The LORD says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in My Name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation,” Psalm 91:14-16, NLT.
