Our Sins, Severely Hamper Our Blessings!
“Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear,” Isaiah 59:1-2 KJV.
Sin in our lives can severely hamper or delay the blessings that rightfully belong to us.
God is a Holy God, He is faithful, but He is also a JUST God meaning He is One that is fair, impartial, unprejudiced and WILL exact upon us the chastisement necessary should we CHOOSE to continue in any way contrary to His commands
Someone here, do not despise the chastising of the LORD, a wise son never neglects reprove for He knows that the Father does so in love if it means inflicting even your body that the soul may be saved, if it means causing hard circumstances to arise to humble us, discipline us and guide us to morals and better judgment and wisdom.
Psalm 119:67 declares, “Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your word….”
Psalm 119:75 says, “I know, O LORD, that Your judgments are righteous, and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me.”
Psalm 119:71 says, “It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.”
You feel as though Elohim has somewhat forsaken you and in HIS anger rebuked and put you aside but that is not the case.
It is YOU who have walked outside of God will and brought on problems like a self imposed curse.
But He is a merciful God. Only confess the sin and repent.
He is ready to forgive…….
Shalom
