Our Beautiful Churches Don’t Impress Him!
“But that night The LORD spoke his word to Nathan, “Go and tell my servant David, ‘This is what The LORD says: Will you build a house for me to live in? From the time I brought the Israelites out of Egypt until now I have not lived in a house. I have been moving around all this time with a tent as my home. As I have moved with the Israelites, I have never said to the tribes, whom I commanded to take care of my people Israel, “Why haven’t you built me a house of cedar?”’ 2 Samuel 7:4-7.
“As this season approaches, will your eyes be upon Me or will they be upon the things of this world?
As you dress and get ready for today and put on your finest of clothes, and then sit in your pews, do you think that you are better than those who don’t sit beside you?
You stand up and sit down in a regimented fashion and then you pass the plate.
Do you honor Me with your lips or are your hearts devoted to Me?
Your beautiful tapestries and golden altar pieces don’t impress Me. But go ahead and put on your finest of clothes.
Stomp and sing and roll around on the floor, for I AM sure that I prefer a circus and not true devotion.
But if you choose to come before Me in humbleness and reverence then I will honor your time spent with Me.
But much of what I see is for show. You try to impress each other. You speak with great eloquence in your prayers thinking that this will impress Me, but that is not the truth.
I come to those who are humble in heart. I cast away the proud and the haughty. But come to Me all ye that labor and are weary, and I will give you rest.”
Amen,
Selah,

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to The LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
Yes amen
Absolutely right. Thank you brother.
Say that Brother!!! As we enter 2020 this a Word we should truly reflect upon. I believe the starting of 2020 will be a great turning point for the church.
