We had orchids growing in our kitchen for several years.

The last one was in that dark, in between, period after a full bloom when it’s regrouping, ready to bloom fully again — except that it produced one solitary flower which promptly died again.

So we bought some orchid feed and started to gently water it. One morning, The LORD showed me more about the new growth, including another solitary flower that’s about to bloom. Then He spoke to me.

“This is a picture of My Church in any given city you care to name. The bud that’s about to bloom is The Remnant Church.

The bare branches is The Church in the rest of the city — mostly bereft of growth and fruit!

Then you bought the remedy and applied it. That’s when the whole plant system was re-invigorated and started to grow again!”

I could see what The LORD meant with regards to The Church but there was something missing from the picture. Then The LORD spoke again.

“For decades, even millennia, My People have been blind to the evil around them. They have ignored it, perhaps hoping it would just go away — but it never did.

There is more evil today than The Church could possibly have imagined. More evil than godly minds could ever have conceived, but the time is coming, nay, it’s here, when My Church has begun to rise up and these evils have all begun to be revealed.

The plant you saw represents the majority of The Church today — dying for lack of proper care.

The one bloom is The Remnant. The plant food you bought is The Blood of Jesus and the anointing of My Spirit.

You have paid, or are paying the price and revival in My Church, among My People, will begin to revive and bring salvation to those outside The Church at the moment.

There is more evil than you can possibly conceive but that is about to be revealed and brought down.

The Remnant Church, that single bloom, is the lampstand that will attract people. The new growth you see just breaking, as a direct result of your feeding, represents the emerging Church — protected by the Blood of Jesus, and fed by the anointing of The Holy Spirit.

The Church, The Remnant Church, is about to enter the start of the prophesied glorious golden age!

Persecution shall not stop it. Prosecution shall not slow it down. Spirit led and anointed, The Church and the world will finally realise who Jesus is!”

Church, it’s time for us to lock step and unite in our vocal condemnation of so much evil in the world today. It’s time for the ‘few’ to give The Church, the muted quiet compliant Church, her voice once again.

The forces of evil cannot stand in the way of a ‘violent’ Church, (as in “From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has been treated violently, and violent men take it by force.” Matthew 11:12), and The Church has to be the voice of love, but love flavoured by righteous anger and moral rectitude!

All this from a tired old orchid — that’s The Church today.
