One More Time!
You’ve been working hard fishing all night but caught not a thing.
You’re packing up your gear when this man Jesus, who you haven’t known very long says this to you, “Cast your net one more time!”
Against every instinct, every experience, and every expectation you do it — just because He says so.
Suddenly . . . You know the rest.
I hear The LORD calling all those who have laboured long and hard for very little, if any, reward — “Cast your net one more time!
For I have decreed a Harvest for you.
Do not believe the lies the enemy is whispering in your ear.
Do not believe that which others are even saying to you.
Do not even believe what you think you are seeing.
For I work in a different way that you don’t see, you don’t hear, you don’t understand.
As your old hymn puts it, “I work in mysterious ways My wonders to perform.”
For My Ways are not your ways!” says God.
“No, My Plans for you are for a Harvest, for a future that you don’t yet see!
So let down your nets one more time — because I say so — and watch Me prosper your efforts!” says The LORD Almighty.
Amen?
“Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.
When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”
But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.”
And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. So they signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”
For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish which they had taken; and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.” So when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed Him.” Luke 5:3-11

Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Haven’t seen any posts from you for a bit—hope all is well!
Amen.
Always need the encouragement,Chris. Thank you for sharing what the Lord has given you. I will cast my net…and continue to do so.
Amen!
