On this October day
The morning is cool and crisp
The wind’s gentle breeze
Moves through the trees
Golden leaves sway
Fiery hands praise
Autumn’s worship on display
Adoration for The LORD ablaze
On this October day
Blue skies make way
For clouds of grey
Vibrant fields lay full
Ready for harvest
Heralding a coming change
Birds take flight
Following The LORD’s seasons
On this October day
Golden poppies sing
Rosy cosmos stand tall
Dusky chrysanthemums rejoice
Majestic dahlias abound in grace
Grasses dance with golden tassels
White butterflies dance in delight
On this October day!
On this October day
You can feel it in your spirit
A deep change coming
Changing the world forever
So wait on The LORD
Be of good courage,
He shall strengthen your heart
Wait, I say, on The LORD!
On this October day
There is a promise
Of His Deliverance
As the days before
Give way to the future
Filled with Hope
He will make hearts glad
Who persevere in Him
On this October day
Give The LORD praise!
On this October day
Ask Him to accelerate!
On this October day
His Light burns bright!
On this October day!
On this October day
Praise Him in all His Splendor
Like the golden leaves
And fiery hands
Let your worship be ablaze
Your heart on fire
On this October day!
