On This Day!
A Psalm to Praise and Sing to God, out loud.
On This Day!
Oh today is the day
We awaken and arise
Oh today is the day
We call out to be saved
Our eyes looking up to the sky
Our hands reaching to the heavens
We cry out to You oh LORD
To bring us through the darkness
To the Victory You have promised
On this day we stand in Victory
On this day we stand in the Light
On this day we stand in Truth
On this day we stand in the Freedom
Given by You and You alone!
Oh today is the day
We stand firm in Your Word
Oh today is the day
We see Your Glory across the earth
Our voices shout down the enemy
Our voices declare his defeat
For this is the battle we are destined to win—
The good fight of faith
We will trust, stand and fight in Your Name!
On this day (and every day) we stand in Victory
On this day (and every day) we stand in the Light
On this day (and every day) we stand in Truth
On this day (and every day) we stand in the Freedom
Given by You and You alone!
You have set us above, not below
You have made us the head, not the tail
Your Purposes for us will prevail!
Oh LORD, You have made Yourself known—
The wicked are ensnared by the works of their own hands
All nations shall fall down
For You are Great and work wonders
Oh on this day, You protect and defend
And deliver Your people out of it all!
On this day (and every day) we stand in Victory
On this day (and every day) we stand in the Light
On this day (and every day) we stand in Truth
On this day (and every day) we stand in the Freedom
Given by You and You alone!
On this day (and every day) You are our Protector
On this day (and every day) You are our Defender
On this day (and every day) You are our Deliverer
We trust in You no matter the enemy
On this day (and every day)!
On this day this is the battle we are destined to win—
On this day we fight the good fight of faith
On this day we will trust, stand and fight in Your Name!
On this day (and every day)…
On this day (and every day)…
On this day (and every day)…
On this day this is the battle we are destined to win—
On this day we fight the good fight of faith
On this day we will trust, stand and fight in Your Name!
On this day (and every day)!
