Many years ago now, it was said that we were on the edge of a very powerful revival. It was foretold by some among us, that we would be returning to full Apostolic renewal. All of the five-fold ministries would be operating as God set them in the church.

One renowned speaker and teacher, said that this had been told once before; but the opposition had held it back. He stood defiantly on the platform, and said that this time, they were not going to stop us. Most of us, truly felt like that would be true.

To use and old expression, I feel that a line in the sand is being drawn. Actually, it has been for some time now. The church as we know it, is going to have to choose; by getting on one side, or the other. Something tells me that there will be no straddling the fence this time.

Today, I read a full report in Ezekiel 8-9. I’ve read it before but this time, it seemed even more powerful than before. It’s true that this event was in the Old Testament; however, it has a striking resemblance of some of what we see in our time now.

We all knew about this shaking that is coming to the church. In fact, it began almost immediately after this word was proclaimed; I saw some of it. In truth, it was awful.

I won’t repeat the description that our evangelist gave of the things that would come upon those who stood in the way of the Gifts of the Spirit operating in full. Also, the full restoration of all of the ministries as they had been set in the church. It began to happen, just as they prophesied to us that it would. Most of those who were hungry for more, were edged out.

I don’t claim to be a prophet; in fact, I don’t claim to be anything at all. Either there is truth in what’s being said, or it’s not. Only those who are full of the Spirit, are going to listen, for the most part.

Most of us never thought, that we could be some of those who would harden their hearts toward the things that God wanted to do in our churches. This “form of Godliness,” could never apply to us. It is a direct result of not following the leading of the Holy Ghost and to start thinking that our program would be the best for all concerned.

It cannot be stressed enough today, that we, the people are the true church. Things are coming to pass so quickly; we are now on the brink of disaster, or glory. It’s decision time.

Christ truly does have a church; the question is, whether we are a part of it, or not?

I read again today, that many have drifted to such a point, that they do not think God is watching. They’ve settled for less, been lulled to sleep and they seem to be satisfied where they are. There are hearts of stone; you can’t move them. And they don’t want to be moved. However, coming events, are about to change all that.

You see, this is why so many stopped seeking spiritual gifts. It’s because one might be called upon to speak things that are difficult to hear.

Whether you want to speak it or not, it is the calling you have been given; you can’t resist long, even if you want to. These times are perilous and if we cannot see that it is becoming just the way Jesus said it would, we are blinded and likely being deceived.

Wherever people are who are hungry for a real in-depth moving of His Spirit, they will be used in this final hour. With or without our approval.

The line has been drawn. Let the Spirit, give the answer.
