The Old Wells Today
The historic places of past Revivals have featured in my social media feed lately.
Reports of visits to Red River Meeting House, Cane Ridge Meeting House, Azusa Street, Blaenannerch Chapel, and Moriah Chapel, have popped up several times — not least through Dutch Sheets on his ‘Give Him 15’ broadcasts.
Folk have been visiting these iconic sites and found that, in every case, the anointing is not only still there, but it’s growing again, about to flow once more!
However, The LORD is impressing on me that these will be more Wells of Anointing, places to visit, to take away The Anointing, for today’s real Revival focus points.
They will not be focus points in themselves, but more like ‘feeder stations’ or places to go to in order to ‘top up’ our anointing for this coming season.
These Old Wells will be like today’s electric car charging points — places to stop a few hours in order to recharge our own batteries, and to pick up anointings and mantles to take back to our own back yard in order to facilitate more people in The Revival!
I know of a few folk who’ve been more than excited and expectant following their visits to these Old Wells.
Are these Old Wells a necessity? No, they’re more of a facility for us to use. An additional resource if you like — a really valuable resource that will encourage and raise expectancy of all who visit!
Use them all worthily and see Revival. Use them in an unworthy manner, just to say you’ve used them, and Revival will pass you by!

Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.
