Oh Glorious Jesus!
A Psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Oh Glorious Jesus!
Off in the distance where the mountains tower
Thunder and lightning rumble and flash
Yet where I stand on the plains
Where the wheat grows to my waist
I know the only thing that will shelter me
From the coming storm
Is Jesus, standing under a tree
Not too far away beckoning me
The winds begin to blow
And I’m smiling because deep in my soul
I know Jesus is waiting, His arms opened wide—
He is the answer to life:
He breaks up the hard soil in a heart;
Pulls weeds and tills it soft,
Plants seeds of hope and love,
And waters it with His Life
Oh Glorious Jesus!
My Savior reigns in my heart
He is the Fountain of Life
Where trees planted by His Streams
Grow strong and upright
Oh Glorious Jesus
My Righteous King reigns in my heart
He is the Lion and Lamb
He protects with His Blood and defends with His Roar
Oh I fear no storm
I step closer to Him, He who dwells in my heart
There at the Tree of Eternal Life I take His Hand
In a twinkling of an eye, He takes me to a different land
Where there are no storms
We sit down beside a stream
And I rest my head on His Shoulder
It’s almost like a dream……
And He begins to woo me:
“Oh how My Love for you is higher than the heavens
And deeper than the deepest seas
Your eyes shine brighter than stars
You are sweeter than honey
Finer than choicest wine
More fragrant than a rose
I’ve made your heart soft and pure;
White like snow
Oh My Beloved, My Father has given you to Me
A bride adorned in fine jewels
And crowned in righteousness
My Heart is so pleased
It leaps higher than a gazelle
It beats faster than a cheetah
It coos softer than a dove
Oh My Beloved, My Heart belongs to you!”
Oh Glorious Jesus!

Let me sit with You by the stream forever
My head upon Your Shoulder
As You dwell within me—
You reign in my heart supreme
Oh I fear no storm with Jesus, my King and Savior!
“For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light,” Psalm 36:9.
“They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.” Revelation 17:14.
The LORD will rescue me from every evil deed and bring me safely into his heavenly kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen,” 2 Timothy 4:18.
“And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation,” Revelation 5:9.
“The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” John 1:29.
“Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem, Thus says The LORD, “I remember the devotion of your youth, your love as a bride, how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown,” Jeremiah 2:2.
“The righteous flourish like the palm tree and grow like a cedar in Lebanon,” Psalm 92:12.
“Then he took of the seed of the land and planted it in fertile soil. He placed it beside abundant waters. He set it like a willow twig,” Ezekiel 17:5.
“She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called blessed,” Proverbs 3:18.
“But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie — just as it has taught you, abide in him,” 1 John 2:27
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you,” Isaiah 43:2.
“You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of The LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. You shall no more be termed Forsaken, and your land shall no more be termed Desolate, but you shall be called My Delight Is in Her, and your land Married; for The LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married. For as a young man marries a young woman, so shall your sons marry you, and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you,” Isaiah 62:3-5.
