There was a man sent from God whose name was John.

This man came for a witness, to bear witness of The Light, that all through Him, might believe.

He was not that Light — but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

Then there was a Word sent from God, Who is The Word That Was Sent.

The Word That Was Sent, Jesus of Nazareth, became flesh and dwelt among us. And today we behold His Glory, The Glory of the only begotten Son of the Father, full of Grace and Truth.

So let The Glory of The LORD rise upon us.

Let the splendor of our King rise upon us.

Raise up your banner to Him in worship and glorify Him with the lifting of our hands and the lifting of our voices to magnify Him and to bless His Holy Name.

He is that Light that came into the world and became the Light of men.

I’m so glad, so very glad, His love delivers me;

I’m so glad, so very glad His love has set me free;

The LORD is high and lifted up;

Like a banner raised up for all to see;

His healing Word is pouring forth;

Like a river of life flowing from you and me;

There is nothing too hard for The LORD to do;

When He is calling you;

For the lame will walk; the blind will see;

The Word That is Sent will not relent;

And the Spirit of The LORD will cause you to know and see;

Till all men come to Him to repent;

Of all, on bended knee.
