THE HOLY SPIRIT revealed something deep to me sometime ago: Balaam and Balak spirits resolutely try to stop GOD’s people from their promised land!

Yet there are believers who practise the doctrine of Balaam and the doctrine of the Nicolaitans!

( The Nicolaitans were idolatrous adulterous, compromising believers within the church in Pergamos who believed and practised certain doctrines of demons. Just like many do in The Church today. )

“But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.” Revelation 2:14-15.

What is the doctrine of Balaam?

It is putting a stumbling block of sin in the way, eating things sacrificed to idols and committing sexual immorality.

As previously shared in the Word: “Throw Her Down! —That Woman Jezebel!“ , what does it mean “to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality”?

The Bible repeatedly refers to sin as adultery (because, just like adultery against a spouse, sin is infidelity/unfaithfulness against GOD) and sinners as adulterers (James 4:4).

And “things sacrificed to idols” are doctrines of demons, “earthly, sensual, demonic” wisdom — all the worldliness being imbibed by The Church (James 3:15,4:4), including success-chasing and prosperity-idolatry by believers setting their minds on earthly things (Philippians 3:18-19), instead of on “things Above” (Colossians 3:1-3).

There is death for the righteous who are undiscerning but give heed to deceiving spirits, to seducing spirits!

They choose to listen to the world (the counsel of the world) and do the things of the world rather than (or in addition to) The Counsel of THE LORD and The Things of GOD.

This is a major reason many are suffering in The Church.

Cursed is the man who walks in the counsel of the unGODly, stands in the path of sinners, sits in the seat of the scornful! (Psalms 1:1).

What stops Balaam and Balak from putting a stumbling block in your way?

• Repenting of personal, parental, ancestral and other sins. Ask THE HOLY SPIRIT to reveal them to you.

Repent before it is too late to do so. Many perish this way: by refusing to heed warnings from THE LORD through various means.

”Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with The Sword of My Mouth.” Revelation 2:16.

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto JESUS, The Author and Finisher of our Faith, Who for The Joy that was set before Him endured The Cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at The Right Hand of The Throne of GOD.” Hebrews 12:1-2.

• Declaring THE WORD OF GOD in prayer to blast them out of the way!

“For THE WORD OF GOD is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12.

“…The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” James 5:16.

Just take your Bible and declare The Four Oracles in Numbers 23 and 24 — the very Words THE LORD put in the mouth of Balaam which stopped him and Balak from cursing and preventing the children of Israel from The Promised Land.

Likewise declare other applicable Scriptures and Utterances THE HOLY SPIRIT may give you to use. Do this for as long as led by THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Sometimes, He leads me to decree and declare battle-specific Scriptures and Utterances for days, weeks and months (some, even YEARS!), and then He does them for me most WONDERFULLY.

It’s amazing. “Oh, taste and see that THE LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” Psalm 34:8.

In our warfare, striking repeatedly with THE LORD’s Instruction is an indispensable military strategy that utterly destroys the enemy and gives us permanent victory. You must pound the enemy to saturation.

This is instructively illustrated in 2 Kings 13,

‘Elisha had become sick with the illness of which he would die. Then Joash the king of Israel came down to him, and wept over his face, and said, “O my father, my father, the chariots of Israel and their horsemen!” And Elisha said to him, “Take a bow and some arrows.” So he took himself a bow and some arrows. Then he said to the king of Israel, “Put your hand on the bow.” So he put his hand on it, and Elisha put his hands on the king’s hands. And he said, “Open the east window”; and he opened it. Then Elisha said, “Shoot”; and he shot. And he said, “The Arrow of THE LORD’s Deliverance and The Arrow of Deliverance from Syria; for you must strike the Syrians at Aphek till you have destroyed them.” Then he said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped. And the man of GOD was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.” ‘ 2 Kings 13:14-19.

Do you see? The king didn’t strike enough number of times as THE SPIRIT wanted, and so the enemy was not completely destroyed from them. Syria still bothers Israel up to this day.

In battling Satan, you must adopt scorched-earth policy: OBLITERATE him!

( Scorched-earth policy is a military strategy of destroying everything and anything that enables an enemy to fight in a war, to paraphrase a Wikipedia entry. )

My late mother (of sweet memory) used to say that when you kill a snake you must cut the head off. This is what you must do to the great dragon, that serpent of old.

Why? So he doesn’t somehow revive subsequently and attack you. Forbid him. Finish him off! Our LORD JESUS CHRIST has given us The Authority to do so (Luke 10:19).

Also, use the weapons and military strategies and tactics shared in this Word: “Throw Her Down! — That Woman Jezebel!”

The Promises we have long been waiting for are being fulfilled right now; the fulfilment has begun.

These are “The Times of Restoration of all things” (Acts 3:21). We are now entering The Promised Land.

Therefore, blast Balaam and Balak out of the way. Do not allow a stumbling block of sin, doctrines of demons, and unfaithfulness towards GOD and man in your midst. Give no place to the devil (Ephesians 4:7).

As Elisha prophetically commanded in 2 Kings 13:14-19, get up now then. Deploy The Arrows of THE LORD against the enemy. Use The Weapons of our warfare and FIGHT! (2 Corinthians 10:4-6; Ephesians 6:12)

As Elisha the prophet did for the king, ask JESUS, The Prophet from Nazareth of Galilee (Matthew 21:11) to put His Hands on the hands of you a king (Revelation 1:6, 5:10), and shoot at His Command. It is all by Faith and declaration.

Ask THE LORD of hosts, The One Who breaks through for us, to break through for you with a master breakthrough as He did for David (2 Samuel 5:20).

“THE LORD bless you and keep you; THE LORD make His Face shine upon you, And be Gracious to you; THE LORD lift up His Countenance upon you, And give you Peace.” Numbers 6:24-26.

NB. Surely, the disciple whom JESUS loves and “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS”, like ALL The Promises of GOD, are available to every believer to obtain, just as John and Paul did.
“And having been perfected, He [JESUS] became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
