Obedience – better than sacrifice!
2 Words in 1
Come, won’t you come?
This morning the LORD woke me with a heavy burn upon my heart, and I feel I must be obedient in releasing the word of the LORD to both a people and a nation.
The LORD is calling His people. Many He is calling to be released into ministry, many He is calling to right living, and many are going to be like unto king Saul, who instead of obeying God (to destroy the enemy) went out to raise up what God had told him to destroy. As a result God had to raise up another anointed vessel unto the house of David to take his place.
I hear a call being made for some to enter their eternal home, (a house not made with hands eternal in heaven), for I hear God saying that their work down here is about to be finished.
You see, the question here is not that you are leaving this earthly home, but the solution is “are you prepared to meet thy God?” Therefore thus will I do unto thee, o Israel: and because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, o Israel! (Amos 4:12).
Tremble, you complacent women; (women) shudder, you daughters who feel secure! (the only safety is in Christ Jesus) strip off your fine clothes and wrap yourselves in rags. (humble yourself in the sight of the mighty hands of God), (Isaiah 32:11). it is time to ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes!
You see the blind man humbled himself because he realized he was in need of a savior, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. And Jesus answered and said unto him, what wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, LORD, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way, (Mark 10:50-52).
The LORD is making a clarion call for those who are not saved to come to him; just as you are in this season. And for those who have went back (lost the faith/your first love) He wants you to know that He is married to the back slider. From the cradle to the grave the LORD is making the call. He said, the day you hear his voice harden not your heart as when they provoked me, (Hebrew 3:15).
For, I hear the Spirit saying, “How doth the city sit solitary that was full of people! How is she become as a widow! She that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary! She weepeth sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers she hath none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies.
Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude: she dwelleth among the heathen, she findeth no rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits. The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness.
Her adversaries are the chief, her enemies prosper; for the LORD hath afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions: her children are gone into captivity before the enemy.
Come on somebody, when you sin, it does not just affect you but your children and their children. The devil wants to destroy your seed; your inheritance in Christ Jesus!
And from the daughter of Zion all her beauty is departed: (the Holy Ghost is speaking and it is time for old America to come back to God; she was once a glorious place; but now her glory has become dull and the dross has caused her not to shine!) her princes are become like harts that find no pasture, and they are gone without strength before the pursuer.
Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when her people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries saw her, and did mock at her Sabbaths.
Turn you at My reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known My words unto you. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; but ye have set at nought all My counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; when your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: for that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD: they would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices, (Proverbs 1:23-31).
Jerusalem hath grievously sinned; therefore she is removed: all that honoured her despise her, because they have seen her nakedness: yea, she sigheth, and turneth backward. Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembereth not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfully: she had no comforter.
O LORD, behold my affliction: for the enemy hath magnified himself. The adversary hath spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she hath seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom thou didst command that they should not enter into thy congregation.
All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: see, o LORD, and consider; for I am become vile. Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? Behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.
From above hath he sent fire into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate and faint all the day. The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck: he hath made my strength to fall, the LORD hath delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up.
The LORD hath trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me: he hath called an assembly against me to crush my young men: the LORD hath trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a wine-press. For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.
Zion spreadeth forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD hath commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them. The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.
I called for my lovers, but they deceived me: my priests and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their meat to relieve their souls. Behold, o LORD; for I am in distress: my bowels are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaveth, at home there is as death.
They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that thou hast done it: thou wilt bring the day that thou hast called, and they shall be like unto me. The call is being made; heed the call!
Lamentations 1:1-20.
Obedience is better than a sacrifice!
I prophesy good health, life, prosperity, and a great harvest will come to every dead situation in your life on today!
Yesterday, as I was in the service I heard the Spirit say, “Woe be unto you!” and, this morning the LORD brought those same words back to me again, and he spoke to me regarding the first fruits.
He said that it is not His will that your enemies should triumph over you people of God. In fact, when we have a vineyard He wants the people of God to go and to gather the first fruits of that vineyard.
Unlike Israel who when they came looking for the summer fruits, as the grape gleanings of the vintage: there was no cluster to eat. Even though, their soul desired the first ripe fruit. But, I heard God say, “Woe to you!” Why?
He said, “The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.
That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up. The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.
Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.
Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me,” (Micah 7:2-7).
You see, Micah was troubled because it seemed as though many had lost their way. Instead of the people looking to God they had begun to trust in their own hearts. Instead of them reaping a good harvest they was reaping nothing. The enemy had come and had stolen their harvest; the first fruits.
But, I hear God saying that it is time for the body of Christ to get back into their place.
It is time to gather the summer fruit. It is time to arise and to kill the giants that have come into our lives that have stopped us from reaching our God-given-destiny.
You see, Joshua went over Jordan, and came unto Jericho: and the men of Jericho fought against him, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and God delivered them into his hand. (Joshua 24:11)
God will do it, but we must trust in him! For, the LORD said to tell the people of God that the husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits (2 Timothy 2:6).
Come on somebody! If you want to be a partaker of this vineyard, you will have to get rid of disobedience; else no harvest will come. Because, when we lack obedience to God we can see no harvest. We can see no deliverance. We can see no souls set free. We can not see any great breakthroughs. We can not see our children delivered; nor can we see our love ones delivered!! We will not be prosperous!
God is saying to the body of Christ that it is time to get into prayer and to stay there until your vineyard is watered, fertilized, and you see your seed are sprouting, and growing and you see the first fruits of what you have sowed.
It does not matter if you have made some mistakes Zion, God is well able to help your vineyard to prosper. For, I hear Him saying, “Do not be discouraged!”
And, though it may seem as though your enemies are triumphing over you God shall bring them low! It may seem as though you are cast down; but you are not going to be destroyed for there is hope and mercy if we submit ourselves unto him!
No hindrances can stop what God favors! For, you are the apple of his eye and he will hide you under the shadow of his wings! (Psalm 17 8) so, cast your burden upon the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never allow the righteous to be shaken, (Psalm 55:22).
These bones can live, o’ God! Then said he unto me, prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, thus saith the LORD God; come from the four winds, o breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
Then he said unto me, son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts. (Come back to God; he wants to give us a harvest!)
Therefore prophesy and say unto them, thus saith the LORD God; behold, o My people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. (God wants to give you the first fruits of the harvest, and it is not his will that there is no cluster is on your vines/no life/ no spirit/ no deliverance/ no prosperity!) and ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, (God is going to do it!)
o my people, and brought you up out of your graves, and shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: (many of you are walking in dry places; a foreign land, but God wants to place you in your own land. A land flowing with milk and honey!) then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD, (Ezekiel 37:9-14).
Today I prophesy that you will come up out of a dry, dead, and thirsty land and you will see your first ripe fruit upon your land today.
I bind, break and destroy every giant in your life , and destroy every seed stealer, and rodent that would come to steal what God has given you.
We break every evil assignment of the Jezebel spirit that would come to take you out of your place to stop you from getting what God has assigned for you.
We break and destroy every evil curse that was spoken over your life; known and unknown and we call all your blessing forth in this hour in Jesus mighty name.
Amen!
