O Steward of The Keys of The Kingdom, What Have You Authorized?
As a person of Authority in the spirit, you will be held responsible for what you authorize.
As it is in the natural, many come to presidents, decision makers, business executives, bearing proposals laced with hidden intent, padded budgets, veiled agendas, hoping to get the signature of a drunk or inattentive president or decision maker authorizing their actions.
Many times, this happens only for people to discover long after, that the details of the proposal wasn’t read, yet assented to — yet authorization had been given for certain activities to be carried out — in the name of the authorizer.
This is what Haman did to the King Ahasuerus; sold him a proposal soothing to the mind of the King.
The King gave his authorization, not knowing he was also authorizing the death of his wife
“And Haman said unto king Ahasuerus, There is a certain people scattered abroad and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from all people; neither keep they the king’s laws: therefore it is not for the king’s profit to suffer them. If it please the king, let it be written that they may be destroyed: and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver to the hands of those that have the charge of the business, to bring it into the king’s treasuries. And the king took his ring from his hand, and gave it unto Haman the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the Jews’ enemy.” Esther 3:8-10.
This is what the Gibeonites did to Joshua that got them into a bond with Israel; they concealed their identity; presented gifts to Joshua and the princes of Israel; which was gladly accepted without seeking counsel at the mouth of The LORD.
“And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the mouth of The LORD. And Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them.” Joshua 9:14-15.
The same goes with those entrusted with Spiritual Authority.
Many who don’t understand the measure, scope and jurisdiction of the Authority given to them open up their chambers, accept proposals and give authorization without discerning the true contents of the proposal.
The fact that you prayed regarding a matter brought to you by someone and it manifested in the earth doesn’t mean it was The LORD that answered that prayer.
If it was intercessory; then we could say The LORD God answered.
However, there are much more manifestations that act out in the natural that are a product of the use of a persons authority; whether natural or spiritual.
In those cases, it may not have been a direct answer from The LORD, it simply may have been that a person of spiritual authority gave His assent to your proposal.
“And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19.
The Prophet Elijah dared to say;
“And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As The LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.” 1 Kings 17:1.
The Scriptures speaks of a people who will have authority to do certain things at their “will” — and as often as “they please”.
“And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.” Revelation 11:3-6.
When Zechariah doubted the word of The Archangel Gabriel;
“And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years. And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings. And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.” Luke 1:18-20.
So when someone approaches you; presenting a proposal, seeking your authorization [prayer] regarding a matter under your spiritual jurisdiction, it’s important to seek counsel at the mouth of The LORD.
In due time, you will be held accountable for whatever you authorize.
For when you bear the “Keys of The Kingdom” — The Word says; “Whatever you bind…. whatever you loose….”
It says; “Whatever”!
““Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 18:18 emphasis added.
