Now Is the Time to Get Your Message out to the World
Have you ever felt like you were made for something more in life?
Maybe you have experienced a great deal of pain and disappointment and wonder if God can still use you.
This was me for many years. But then I discovered my life message and I am now using my past experiences, both painful and good, to help millions of people.
We are sitting on a divine opportunity to reach out to people all over the world using the Internet.
God was behind the creation of the Internet for the purposes of the revival that is coming. While in many ways the Internet is being used for the wrong reasons, we can redeem what is intended for evil and bring about good.
Power in your story
“They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony,” Revelation 12:11 NIV.
Whether you realize it or not, God has given you the gift of your life experiences. Who you are and what you’ve gone through is important and there is power in your testimony!
Your testimony does not have to be religious; it can also be practical things to help others. It is so important to discover your life message, as it is the fabric of discovering your destiny.
Finding our Message and Style
In 9th grade speech class, I had nearly failed every speech. Then, we had to do a demonstration speech. Since I worked at Burger King at the time, I brought in all the fixings to make a Whopper.
Standing there feeling stupid in front of the class, wearing my red paper hat, I got them all laughing and showed them how to make a Whopper.
I got an A on that speech!
Other times, when I would try to do a speech or formal presentation, I would fumble all over myself. But if I did any sort of practical training, showing people how to do something, talking about my own experiences and getting them to laugh, things would flow for me.
This was a clue that helped me find my style and message, which I still use to this day.
How to find Yours
What are the things God has been speaking to you in your life?
Maybe you have a passion or dissatisfaction. Some people are driven by a passion for something and others are motivated by dissatisfaction about something.
Either way, you can use this to discover your message and communication style.
Begin to notice what themes or topics you are drawn to most. As you take notice of these and study them further, you will begin to see your life message emerge.
Here are 5 questions you can ask yourself:
- What would you do if you knew you wouldn’t fail?
- What did you pretend when you were a kid?
- If you won the lottery, how would you spend your money?
- What have you overcome in your life or are in the process of overcoming?
- If you had the freedom, how would you like to help people?
For me, I had many passions and dissatisfactions. I love music, praying, reading the Bible and watching football.
Then one day, while listening to music, praying, reading the Bible and watching football, the Holy Spirit spoke to me. “I have placed a message in you to help other people with the very things that you have struggled with all your life.”
Thirty years ago, God gave me a strategy for sharing His love that is still a life message of mine today.
I invite you to take the next step and join me on a journey of discovering your message and some of the best ways to get your story and ideas out to the world.
Check out this online workshop, where I’m releasing — for the first time — many of the strategies and tools that God has given me so you can use them to release YOUR life message!
