Not Without Humility
There was a battle that raged outside of me. I recognized that it was spiritual in nature.
We’re not talking about little forces of darkness; it was of spiritual wickedness in high places.
In a deep valley of such despair and injury, I sat almost helpless; totally broken from injury and without strength. As I tried to reach out to the realm of the Spirit, I could not help but ask, what is this LORD?
If by now, we do not believe that angels of God are being sent here to minister to us, then we are surely lost to so much of the way God works among his people. It came to me, that this attack was for one reason; to stop what God had planned to do with me; this work that He has called me to do.
There were angels of high rank, fighting with intense intent against one another. I became aware, that it was not just me who was being attacked. It was all of those, all over the world, who have been chosen, appointed, called and anointed for today.
You know, we may think that our heart is right and that there is nothing standing between us and God. But, oh how quick we are to forget the workings of the mind.
Just as Adam and Eve tried to hide themselves from the LORD, we often pick and choose the things we wish to secretly hold on to.
We are told to root out many things from within our heart and spirit. It was made clear, that those little things, will definitely not stay little.
We were all called to be watchmen, of a sort; ever mindful.
May we allow the Spirit to urge us to remember clearly a sound proclamation of old:
“For whosoever exalteth himself, shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.”
Let’s look at that word ‘abased.’ It means, to lower in rank, prestige or esteem. A common definition is, to be brought down; to fall from the pedestal we thought we were on.
Self, produces more self. It is neither anointed nor pure. It may ouch some, but the more we build ourselves up, the less of God we have. The Spirit, does not walk in step with self.
There are dark clouds all around us. To deny that, is to suppress what the Spirit wishes to say. Yes, there is truly righteousness, peace and joy, in the Holy Ghost.
Every hour is not a dark one; neither is Satan in charge of every post. It was Jesus himself who foretold of this time we are now in. It was He who was first to say “watch,” and that He’s coming in an hour we think not.
Perhaps a lukewarm church, would never admit it. Where is the true church, in the world today.
God stir us and help us recall, that saving souls and bringing Jesus to someone else, was our greatest desire. I say this in the absolute fear of God; if Jesus does not come soon, we are going to see the forces of darkness, begin to perform great miracles, wonders and signs in the heavens.
Many of us were taught that we would be long gone from this world by now; we would miss what we see on the horizon all around us. We once believed these things taught in His holy Word.
Can we see, God help us to see, that we are going to need more power, than we ever thought we would. Only the true and unfettered power of the Spirit can stand, even survive in this final hour.
Let me shake myself; let each of us shake our own spirits. It was known to me recently, that nothing, and I mean nothing, will stop God from the work He has chosen to do in this hour.
He has prepared a greater force than any may have thought possible; you see, He has been busy. Gifts are coming off the shelf; truly appointed voices will speak with the power of the Spirit.
But stay humble; ever humbling ourselves.
