NO! You Are Not Alone!
I feel so strongly to release this tonight.
This is for you, silent broken ones fighting a battle no one knows.
You are not alone!
It’s a scary place to be; fighting, healing from something that has caused you so much pain.
Waking up every morning to fight the exact same demons that left you so exhausted the night before, and doing it all alone.
Maybe you have a friend or family member who’s there for you, who tells you that you can turn to them, but they will never understand the pain you are in or the never-ending anguish. You feel like you been walking through the corridors of hell and cant find your way out.
And so you stay silent, doing your absolute best to heal from the thing that has brought you so much pain. And every morning you wake up and try your best to continue to fight, to continue to heal from something no one even knows you are dealing with.
It’s the loneliest feeling in the world, I know. Trying to heal, trying so hard to keep healing from something that nobody even knows or understands your pain.
Life is hard. We all have demons in our lives. Often, life is suffering. There is beauty to the suffering, but the cold hard truth of the world is that time is relentless.
The world continues to spin, regardless of your emotions and feelings and circumstance. And I think, while we all go on personal journeys, challenging our own obstacles, we also must recognize that everyone else is climbing similar, but entirely different hills.
Did Jesus shun the blind man screaming for him at the top of his lungs?
Did he look down in judgment in the woman taken in adultery?
Did he talk about all the wrong this one over here in the dark corner did and how he was hopeless?
You don’t know their battle, you don’t know what they feel inside, you judge by only what you may see on the outside.
But within they are crying out for more, they cry out for change, they cry out for help and just a glimmer of hope in this darkness closing in on them.
That young girl broken by prostitution, the addict thinking all he has left is to die and let the enemy cheat him of his purpose.
The broken ones judged by religion and feel they cant live up to Church standards. It is time to realize we are the Church, his hands reaching a broken world, his Oracle releasing his love and life giving power.
You may not know a lot of things about that tattooed felon, you may not know the mistake they made, but trying turn it around.
You don’t know the story of bitterness and rage one may feel due to trauma they faced.
Reach out and show them the sanctuary of peace they will find in the King of kings. You may not know a lot of things, but there is One that you do know that knows All about them. He is the only One that you should talk to about them and watch him turn it around.
In life, a fog may set in and the direction for some seems unclear. We all have spent some time in this place until our Prince of Peace broke through and saved us from ourselves. Time to pray Church and be about his business!
If you meet someone whose soul is not aligned with yours, send them love!
And to all of you that may feel broken or in this very place, you are not alone.
You are stronger than you think.
You have the King of Glory who gave his all for you and He is still with you.
Nothing is impossible and know that I stand with you praying for you and believing the tide will turn!
