No Time to Miss the Mark!
No Time to Miss the Mark —
Loyalty and Devotion are Important to God!
As I was meditating upon The LORD, He said something so unique to me.
He said, “Hold on to the pattern I have given unto you.”
At first I was thrown by this word, “pattern.” Because I recently purchased a sewing machine and I thought maybe it has to do with sewing, which is not far fetched, because according to Webster’s dictionary: A Pattern is something designed or used as a “model” for making things.
Moses was one, according to scripture, who was given a pattern to follow while leading the children of Israel
According to the Book of Hebrews 8:3-5 MSG,
“The assigned task of a high priest is to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and it’s no different with the priesthood of Jesus.
If he were limited to earth, he wouldn’t even be a priest.
We wouldn’t need him since there are plenty of priests who offer the gifts designated in the law.
These priests provide only a hint of what goes on in the true sanctuary of heaven, which Moses caught a glimpse of as he was about to set up the tent-shrine. It was then that God said, “Be careful to do it exactly as you saw it on the Mountain.”
We as God’s high priests in the earth are also called to follow a pattern, as Moses did.
Many times we feel because we have been called to a grace dispensation we can use it as a cloak of righteousness to sin, but according to the New Testament scriptures, we are called to be a little Jesus, who are to keep this pattern which has been given us to follow day by day!
Even after the dying of Moses, God warned Joshua to fail not to keep His covenant, because it was in his relationship with God that manifold blessings would continue. If he broke covenant, it would be the opposite — which would result in cursing.
However after Joshua had gotten well stricken in age he did the same pattern with the other tribes saying:
“Behold, I have divided unto you by lot these nations that remain, to be an inheritance for your tribes, from Jordan, with all the nations that I have cut off, even unto the great sea westward.
And The LORD your God, he shall expel them from before you, and drive them from out of your sight; and ye shall possess their land, as The LORD your God hath promised unto you.
Be ye therefore very courageous to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses, that ye turn not aside therefrom to the right hand or to the left; That ye come not among these nations, these that remain among you; neither make mention of the name of their gods, nor cause to swear by them , neither serve them, nor bow yourselves unto them: But cleave unto The LORD your God, as ye have done unto this day.
For The LORD hath driven out from before you great nations and strong: but as for you, no man hath been able to stand before you unto this day.
One man of you shall chase a thousand: for The LORD your God, he it is that fighteth for you, as he hath promised you.” Joshua 23:4-10 KJV emphasis added.
In this season, I believe that God is using these patterns to remind the people of God how gracious, and kind He is when it comes to His mercy for those that follow Him.
And to remind them how important covenant relationship is to Him and that we learn to follow His pattern that He has passed down through generations when it comes to holiness and right living!
Notice that even in scripture He warned Moses, Joshua and evening the other tribes what would happen if they forsook covenant with Him and broke covenant to follow their own ways instead of the pattern He Himself had provided for them.
Not just in the Old Covenant Testaments but even the New Testament saying,
“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect in His sight.” Romans 12:2.
But, Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray. (Luke 5:16)
Again using a repeated pattern to spend time with the Father in the wilderness proving He loved the Father enough to lay aside what He was doing in order to place himself in the eyes of the Father first as a living sacrificial offering.
But, the book of Jude lets us know that in order to truly keep this pattern and to follow it to the very inch we as God’s Beloved, we should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, ( forsaken the pattern) turning the grace of our God into (offensive pleasures) lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. (Jude 1:3-4 KJV)
The pattern is of the utmost importance in this season because for those who knows anything about making designs and following patterns one wrong cut or stitch could cause the entire outfit to be off leaving one to have to go back to fix what was off or to restart the entire design all over again!
Leaving one to become frustrated at the amount of time wasted because the pattern was not followed to the given instructions!

Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
Amazing. Thank you.
Very true!
