No More Wall of Division
It is very important to understand that IN CHRIST there is only ONE BODY.
Not two, 1. Jews and 2. Gentiles, but they are now one.
The Scriptures talk about a wall which had to be torn down so that the two could become one.
Today [because of Jesus Blood upon His Cross], He has brought all men into one family: The Body of Christ.
This Scripture teaching is found in Ephesians 2:11-16.
“Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; that at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: but now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by The Blood of Christ, for he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; having abolished in His Flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself one new man, so making peace; and that he might reconcile both unto God …. in One Body by The Cross having slain the enmity thereby.” (Emphasis added).
Many Teach False Doctrine
There is much significance to this Scripture Fact of only One Body, which will play out into End Time Prophecy.
Many try to maintain that there are two bodies that cannot be mixed, and If you do mix them you will find yourself believing False Doctrine.
The reason they try so hard to keep the Two separated is that in Prophecy they want to show that God will deal with [judge] the Jews differently then He will deal with the Gentiles.
This teaching does damage to the overall work of the Lord by saying that his work done for sinners is not applied the same to all men, and that the Lord will deal with some differently then others, because of the Race issue.
When Jesus died on the Cross he died for all men, rich and poor, bond and free, Jews and Gentiles or Greeks. Jesus made no difference in the race of men when He died on His Cross.
He was no respecter of persons. To LORD Jesus, all men were sinners in need of Salvation.
Illustration of a False Teaching
Many say that the Tribulation Time of 7 weeks, will only be about the Jews, and that the Gentiles [or the Church] will not be in the Tribulation Times.
The reason behind this is understood when you read the “Rapture” theory which says that the Church will be taken out or raptured or taken away before the Tribulation time [because the tribulation is for the Jews only].
The reason they teach this is because Daniel said the Tribulation Week of Years was determined upon his People [Israel].
They do not take into account that the teaching of the Church was to remain a Mystery to the Jews for many years. The Church was not revealed to Daniel, but he saw only Israel being judged.
When in Bible College I myself was taught that in order to understand what Jesus said in Matthew 24 one must understand the division of the Jews and the Gentiles. See Matthew 24:15-22.
“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand). Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: for then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”
That those to whom Jesus was talking to were “Jews”. because if those Jesus was talking to were The Church, then it would follow that Jesus was saying the Church would be in the Tribulation times, because the Abomination of Desolation spoken by Daniel the Prophet was to happen in the middle of the tribulation week.
“Never mind, they say, “that the scripture tell us that Jesus was talking with “His disciples or the apostles of the new Church” when talking that day” — but in reality, He was talking about the Jews only!
The Rapture Preachers had to prove other wise to support their belief that the Church would be removed before the Tribulation in a Rapture, and that any “Saints” found in the Revelation was reference only to “Jewish Saints”.
If the Church was warned by Jesus Christ himself to watch for the Antichrist and his idol in the temple, then it proves that the Church will be in the tribulation!
Because it was to His Church that He warned them to flee into the wilderness and hide.
if the people were the Church then they were in the last half of the tribulation, this just could not be the reason …. If the rapture is to take out all the Church before those days.
It is therefore important to understand that the scripture does teach that there is one body: The Body of Christ, and that Body is made up of all believers both of Jewish background and Gentile people.
It Is Dangerous to Form a Doctrine Based Upon Man’s Opinions
The teaching of the division of People into Groups such as the Jews and then the Gentiles, is a false doctrine now since the Cross of Jesus Christ upon which Jesus himself died to justify all men from Sin.
Read it again:
“Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; that at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: but now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; and that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: and came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: in whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Ephesians 2:11-22.

As a member of a Messianic Jewish congregation of Jew and Gentile believers in Yeshua the Messiah, we deal with this and similar issues more than most in the body of Messiah. Ephesians 2 plainly references the “one new man” and the “joint citizenship” of God’s people and “membership in God’s household,” which God only has one household.
The enemy constantly seeks to divide God’s people. He has created replacement theology, the lie that the church (a church of Gentiles) has replaced the Jews in God’s promises to the Jews (Romans 11:29 “for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.”), the same way that the enemy has divided the church into hundreds of denominations.
There is only one way into the Kingdom, through Jesus, the gate, and there is no division of believers into “classes” as the events of Revelation play out. Only the position of one’s heart will determine the manner in which each of us proceeds through the events of Revelation.
Very well said Mr. Robert.
