No Matter How “Professional”
Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for it.
Infidelity has difficult connotations that no one wants to be associated with. Yet it happens. Husbands that are not faithful to their own wives bring a pall upon themselves that many times is ignored for their own selfish reasons.
If a husband thinks his wife is no longer “good enough” for him, he more than likely was not treating her in such a way that would have been honorable himself.
All kinds of “successes” that take the preeminence over relationships with our wives and husbands are nothing more than a source of pride that sugarcoats your own “self-worth.”
But then the rain that comes in our daily lives will reveal who we really are. There is nothing that can cover the truth about you. You are known by your own actions.
No matter how “professional” you make yourself appear, when you use someone for your own goals and then discard them, your own actions will cause you to be figured out before you even complete your intended path.
“Why do the heathen rage and the peoples believe in a vain thing. The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against His anointed, saying, “Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their chords from us. He that sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure. Yet, have I set My King upon My holy hill of Zion,” Psalm 2:1-6.
“For the Word of God is quick and powerful, Sharper than any double-edged sword. It penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to Whom we must give an account.” Hebrews 4:12-13.
