No Longer a Servant
I heard, “No longer call yourself My servant, Beloved, but call Me, “My Husband!”
Then I saw The Bride of Christ being taken under the Wings of the Bridegroom Jesus.
She has felt alone and frightened in this progressively darkening world. But Jesus is your Kinsman Redeemer, the One who rescues you and bought you with a price, your Deliverer.
The LORD of Hosts has declared through the prophet Isaiah, around the year 700 B.C., that you are His Betrothed.
Father God declared through Hosea that we shall call Him, “Husband” around 750 B.C — and Your Savior King declared through the Song of Solomon, around 970 B.C., that you are “His Beloved and He is yours.”
Think on this, sons and daughters, almost 3000 years ago, Yahweh declared His Everlasting Love and Devotion to you — and the New Testament refers to us as His Bride in many verses.
John the Baptist declared that “The Bride belongs to the Bridegroom.” We are the Bride of Christ! We are the apple of His eye!
That we would not be, as in other religions, a servant who must work his way into the graces of their king, but by His Grace, you are betrothed to your Kinsman Redeemer, the God of the whole earth.
And He Is going to show you in the natural, I hear.
Today I was driving, and looked up after I wrote this and saw a perfect formation of beautiful white clouds in the shape of a wing.
You may also find feathers on the ground. Just know that He is desiring for you to know you are His Beloved, hidden under His Wings!
“Beloved. Fear not. You are not alone. Run into My Arms. For your Maker is your Husband, The God of the whole earth.
The LORD of Hosts is your Redeemer, the Commander of Heavenly Armies who guards you day and night.
I have betrothed you to Me forever; Yes, I betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, In lovingkindness and in compassion.
I have pledged to you My Kindness and Compassion, My Faithfulness and My never failing Love.
I AM the Bridegroom who rejoices over His Bride. You are My Sons and Daughters, but even more than that, you are the Bride of Christ.
For like a husband, I cover you with My protection. I hide you in the Shadow of My Wings.
I have redeemed you and called you by name and you are Mine. I bought you for Myself, out of the curse, out of your destitution; and I have made you My own Beloved Bride; and I will bless you for all generations.
I AM the True Kinsman-Redeemer of all who call upon Me in faith.
I see you in your troubles. I know the dangers in this world and I have hidden you under the protection of My Wings.
I have covered you with My Robe of Righteousness and the Garments of Salvation.
I AM The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One who saves.I rejoice over you with gladness; I will quiet you My Love; I will exult over you with loud singing.
I AM the One you have waited for, I AM your Champion who fights for you.
And as the Bridegroom rejoices over the Bride, so your God rejoices over you. I conceal you under the Cover of My Tent; I AM your Help, and in the shadow of My Wings, you will sing for joy.
Listen to The Spirit, Beloved! Your prophets are proclaiming who I AM.
For your Maker is your Husband, The LORD of hosts is His name — and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth!”
UNDER HIS WINGS : כְּנָפָ֣יו (kə·nā·p̄āw) : Strong’s Hebrew 3671: 1) wing, extremity, edge, winged, border, corner, shirt 1a) wing 1b) extremity 1b1) skirt, corner (of garment)
KINSMAN REDEEMER : The kinsman-redeemer is a male relative who had the privilege or responsibility to act on behalf of a relative who was in trouble, danger, or need. A redeemer is one who delivers or rescues someone by paying a price. To redeem is, literally, to “buy out.”The Hebrew term (go el) for kinsman-redeemer designates “one who delivers or rescues”
In Ruth 3:9, we see a beautiful and poignant picture of the needy supplicant, unable to rescue herself, requesting of the kinsman-redeemer that he cover her with his protection, redeem her, and make her his wife. Ruth 4, read in the context of Ruth 3, is a lovely picture of a just, righteous, responsible Redeemer who was ultimately motivated by love.
Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, bought us for Himself, out of the curse, out of our destitution; made us His own beloved bride; and blessed us for all generations. He is the true kinsman-redeemer of all who call on Him in faith.
HUSBAND : “And it shall be, in that day,” Says The LORD, “That you w ill call Me ‘My Husband,’ And no longer call Me ‘My Master,” Hosea 2:16
“For your Maker is your Husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth.” Isaiah 54:5
The Hebrew conveys in this verse that Yahweh would sustain His people in the relationship of a Husband; that He who had made them, and molded them as a people, would now take His church under His Wings, under His protection and care. (Barnes Notes)
“For as a young man marries a virgin, So your sons will marry You; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So your God will rejoice over you.” Isaiah 62:5
“I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice, In lovingkindness and in compassion,” Hosea 2:19
“The bride belongs to the Bridegroom. The friend who attends the Bridegroom waits and listens for Him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete.” John 3:29
