No Greater Love
Love is the fulling of the law.
Jesus fulfilled the law when he hung on the cross and said it is finished. It was.
He was fulfilling it in Matthew – John and it was in full effect up until he died.
It was finished/ fulfilled by acts now you are no longer under The Law, but now you are under the New Covenant.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life,” John 3:16.
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends,” John 15:13.
“Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace. And that he might reconcile both unto god in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: and came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.” Ephesians 2:15-17.
“…. unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Nevertheless when one turns to The LORD, the veil is taken away. Now The LORD is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of The LORD is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of The LORD, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of The LORD.” 2 Corinthians 3:13-18.
“Then said he, lo, I come to do thy will, o god. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second,” Hebrews 10:9.
“Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned: from which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling; desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm,” 1 Timothy 1:5-7.
“For all the law is fulfilled in one word ,even in this; thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself,” Galatians 5:14.
“Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law,” Romans 13:10.

God bless you sister, I think Jeremiah 31: 31-34, Hebrews 10: 16-26 and, especially, Romans: 2:14, “ For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things of the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves” confirms what you are saying. Notice this does not say the Gentiles live up to the law because no one but Jesus ever did that, thus the sacrifices in the old testament and, thank God for the Blood of Jesus in the New Covenant. I dare say we stand a better chance of living up to the law with the law written on our hearts. Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of Glory!
Amen. Thank you sister.
:( The Law you are referring to is our Father’s instructions from the beginning. Jesus said in John 12:49 what He spoke was not His own, but the Father’s.
He did NOT come to abolish the instructions or the prophets, but to fulfill – to manifest that which was written. How can you not abolish but do away with it? This concept makes no sense. If it was “all wrapped up and done away with”, as you have written, why does Jesus say “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but not 1 jot or tittle will be done away until ALL be fulfilled? Do you believe everything is completed?
Jesus also stated in Matthew 5 vs 19 “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”
Are you sure of your understanding “It is finished” is accurate? I beg to differ with you. I pray your eyes be open to the power of the truth!! You cannot have Jesus without having ALL of Him. He is the Spoken Word, the Written – TORAH/LAW/INSTRUCTIONS – and He is the Word made flesh. Those that worship Him must do so in Spirit & Truth (PLEASE READ PSALM 119 TO KNOW THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE JESUS WAS TALKING BOUT – all that is written is of Him!).
