New Birth Pains
I once found it utterly amazing and indescribably sad, that so many Christians still had no idea that we’re in The End Times.
But then, so many “Christians” now still don’t know Jesus as a personal Saviour. They don’t know anything about the person of The Holy Spirit or His baptism; don’t know about eschatology — the list is long!
I was also surprised, many years ago, to discover that the Gospel is rarely — if ever — preached in many Churches, and many still don’t.
No wonder I have gone behind The Veil into The LORD’s Throne Room, only to discover it wet with tears — GOD’S tears for His people and His Church!
We were so blessed in one Church we attended. The Gospel was preached every Sunday evening.
Personal relationships with The LORD were taught and encouraged. The Baptism of The Holy Spirit was taught; eschatology was taught; and intercessory prayer war was waged on Satan and his hordes. Importantly in this time; political correctness was and still is eschewed and Biblical truth taught — whatever the cost.
I praise God that we’re not alone!
All these reports about storms, floods, earthquakes, fires, wars, rumours of wars, sickness, disease, robbing, killing, and destroying are happening exactly as prophesied in The Bible.
These are End Times.
Everything is happening on cue. Nothing surprises God! Absolutely nothing!
All these events are described in The Bible as ‘birth pains’
“For we know that the whole creation groans and labours with birth pangs together until now!” Romans 8:22
These ‘birth pains’ have increased disproportionately, maybe exponentially these past thirty years — even more than that recently.
When a prophet tells us that God Himself has said, “I AM coming soon!” — then God Himself means what He says.
He also means it when He tells us that Revival is coming.
I know, the word “Revival” isn’t in The Bible, but then, The Bible — as we know it — wasn’t compiled until about 150-165 AD and there was no thought of Revival then.
The word “Revival” came in the religious sense in 1702 and “Revivalist” not until 1820. But does it matter?
That which we term Revival — a sweeping awakening to the matters of personal faith and religion — is coming very very soon. GOD HIMSELF SAYS SO!
As Smith Wigglesworth said, “God said it. I believe it. That settles it!”All that God asks of us is that we are prepared. Like the five wise virgins, lamps topped up with oil, wicks trimmed, and alight and awake!
Awake?
Awake to the times and seasons, like the men of Issachar! Spiritually awake, politically awake, and prophetically awake.
All the signs are there for you to see. All the signs are there for you to hear. All the signs are there for you to discern.
The Holy Spirit gave us eyes to see, ears to hear, and the gift of discernment.
The LORD also gave us the natural ability of critical thinking, so that instead of just accepting what we are told, we can critique it and ask questions.
This post is not intended as a criticism — more of a wake up call. It really is time for all of us to wake up a little bit more.
It’s time to stop assuming and start questioning. It’s time to stop letting someone else do things, but time for each one of us to pray, to act, to wake up to what’s happening all around us in plain sight.
It’s time to read and believe Gods Word; to repent, and turn from our sloth and listen to what He is saying to us today!
In one sense, it’s time to let go of our ideas, suppositions, and inaction, in order to let God implement His plans, His actions.

Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.
I believe and recieve and agree in JESUS and Chris.
