My Wish For You, For The New Year And Always!
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
My Wish For You, For The New Year And Always!
Be happy
Grow in Christ
Live in harmony and peace
And may the God of Love and Peace be with you
Laugh with Him
Sing with Him
Dance with Him
And yes, shed a tear with Him
Seek His Face
Hold His Hand
Rest in His Presence
And find favor with Him in all you do
This is my wish for you, for the New Year and always…
Reach out your hand
Serve your fellow country man
Reach out with compassion
Serve the orphan and widow
Reach out in faith
Heal the sick and broken
All in His Namesake
All for His Glory
This is my wish for you, for the New Year and always…
Abandon human wisdom
Abandon worldly foolishness
Abandon the self
For you are filled with His SPIRIT
Build upon His Foundation
Build with care
Build according to His Plans
For each work shall be tested by His Fire
This is my wish for you, for the New Year and always…
Live humbly
Walk in His Truth
Drink in His Living Water
And may God’s Grace rest upon you
Honor Christ
Speak of His Sacrifice
Go forth as the salt and light of the world
And let the one who boasts, boast in the LORD!
This is my wish for you, for the New Year and always…
Give Him your thanks
Give Him your praises
Give Him your surrendered heart
And present to Him yourself as a Holy Temple
Walk circumspect
Walk in Holiness
Walk in reverence
And know He is LORD and God
This is my wish for you, for the New Year and always…
Walk in obedience
Walk in Faith
Walk in His Love
All the days of your life
This is my wish for you my brethren;
This is my wish for you, for the New Year and always…
Go forth and be blessed in His Love…
Always….
“I close my letter with these last words: Be Happy. grow in Christ. Pay attention to what I have said. Live in harmony and peace. And May the God of love and peace be with you.” 2 Corinthians 13:11 TLB
“What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.
Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows that the thoughts of the wise are futile.” So then, no more boasting about human leaders! All things are yours, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future—all are yours,” 1 Corinthians 3:5-22
“What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.” 1 Corinthians 2:12
“It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: “Let the one who boasts boast in the Lord.”” 1 Corinthians 1:30-31
