This Prayer arises out of personal dreams and experiences during this time when the whole world is full of confusion and chaos, and we are trying to sort out all the controversial troubling news everywhere we look.

Have we lost sight of fixing our eyes on Jesus during this crisis?

Are we paying more attention to looking at the evil around us instead of looking up, at the One we should be putting our trust in?

May we focus on Him and Him alone and trust that He has it all worked out. Our God is our Defender, our strong Tower, and may we run to Him right now and bow before Him, letting all our troubles go, and leaving them in His most capable hands.

LORD God Almighty,

In these troubling times we know that You will use the plans of the enemy to make good the plans of The LORD.

Break down every stronghold and pull up every root that’s clouding our minds right now, oh God.

All roots of controversy, conspiracy, and paying attention to the enemy’s tactics instead of Your goodness, oh God, forgive us.

Purify us with the fire of Your Presence, and breathe on us the fire of Your breath, burning up every evil thought the enemy is trying to cloud our minds with to confuse us.

Help us, God, to see You as the Light ahead of us and not to focus on the darkness around us.

You light up our path, and as we walk, You step in our footsteps and together we are one.

We will not look at what is beneath our feet when we walk on water, but we will look to You as You stretch out Your hands towards us, saying, “Come! It’s time step out of the boat.”

We will not look at the swirling waves around us but we will hear Your voice in the thunder above us, we will see Your face in the lightnings that flash around us and know that You are in control of everything.

You will make a way where there seems no way. You will use the evil for good. You will lead us out of the darkness into the light and when we have to go into the darkness, You are there with us. You are in this valley of the shadow with us.

You are from everlasting to everlasting. Time is in Your hands, and You are not worried about how everything will turn out.

You have written the Book that tells us that You are in eternity, and that we are there with You, forever and ever.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three in One, all together in us and we in You.

Thank you Father, for allowing us the privilege of living in these times, the days of Revelation, where Your Glory and power is about to be poured out Into the earth like never before.
