My Help Comes From The LORD

OH LORD, help me be closer to You
To become more humble
And filled with patience
Kinder and more tender-hearted
Help me lean against You everyday
And when I feel frustrated
Help me remember to call upon You
And calm the storm

OH LORD, help me increase my faith
To trust You in all
And walk in peace
Help me believe and receive
And when I feel like giving up
Help me remember Your Love
And stir my heart

I lift my eyes up to the mountains—
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from The LORD,
Maker of Heaven and earth

Steady my hands
Order my steps
Hope and Love go before me
Your Promises will not fail me
Because my help comes from You

He will not let your foot slip—
He who watches over you will not slumber;
Indeed, He who watches over Israel
Will neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD watches over you—
The LORD is your shade at your right hand;
The sun will not harm you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
The LORD will keep you from all harm—
He will watch over your life;
The LORD will watch over
Your coming and going
Both now and forevermore.
